Masterwork weapons / armor

I was wondering if a weapon has a +2 enhancement bonus does it mean it gets a +2 to attack and damage rolls and if an armor piece has a +3 enhancement bonus does it get a +3 to AC?

I'm asking because i cant find any data on this in the books and when I was playing DDO the other day i noticed that a +2 weapon i got said it gave a +2 to attack and damage rolls.

Yes, that is exactly what they do. I'm sure it is in there somewhere, probably the magic items chapter. I've never thought to actually look it up.

EDIT: I just noticed your title... are you asking about high enhancement bonus masterwork items? Because those don't exist in Pathfinder.

You are correct for a weapon enhancement and for enhancements of suits of armour. (I am not sure about piecemeal armour). I will add links to confirm these two statements shortly.

Combat
"Attack Bonus:
Your attack bonus with a melee weapon is the following:Base attack bonus + Strength modifier + size modifier ...
Armor Class: 10 + armor bonus + shield bonus + Dexterity modifier + other modifiers"
So basic reading would not add anything to attack, just AC
Fortunately for wielders of magical weapons "...A magic weapon is enhanced to strike more truly and deliver more damage. Magic weapons have enhancement bonuses ranging from +1 to +5. They apply these bonuses to both attack and damage rolls when used in combat" & Armour "...Magic armor bonuses are enhancement bonuses, never rise above +5, and stack with regular armor bonuses (and with shield and magic shield enhancement bonuses)."

Thanks guys that helps a lot. Made things a little more clear since I couldn't find anything out about that from looking though the core rulebook.
