read on p 186 that wands can be drawn ike a weaon while moving with a bab+1. also mentioned weapon like objects. would a alchemist fire/acid be considered a weapon like object? at that point, how much disimilar is a potion from acid?

I believe that a "weapon-like object" refers to something with a similar shape to a weapon. Most weapons have a handle and another part (blade, shaft, etc) which extends out from it. Wands are the same way, so they can be "sheathed" in a sense and therefore drawn easily by grabbing the handle and pulling it out without having to readjust your grip.

A flask (as of potions or alchemist's fire) has no such design. You can't just whip it out like that.

Sovereign Court

A potion vial is equivalent to your standard 1 oz shot glass, whereas a flask of acid/alch fire is a pint. Quite a bit of difference between them.

Alchemist's Fire and Acid Flasks are weapons. Splash weapons, specifically. You make an attack roll to hit with them --> they are weapons. With sufficiently high BAB and quick draw, you can chuck a whole bunch of them at a time, just like you can with darts or javelins.

Benefit: You can draw a weapon as a free action instead of as a move action. You can draw a hidden weapon (see the Sleight of Hand skill) as a move action.

A character who has selected this feat may throw weapons at his full normal rate of attacks (much like a character with a bow).
Alchemical items, potions, scrolls, and wands cannot be drawn quickly using this feat.

That'll teach me to post while practically falling asleep.

the quick draw feat is why i thought one could not draw these other items but after seeing that wands can be drawn while moving, i am now second guessing myself.

Yeah, it's not very explicit. That's why I explained my reasoning of "handle plus another part" to classify weapon-like shapes. Seems a decent rule of thumb, no?

Erm... Having read the both the "Draw or Sheathe a Weapon" and "Quickdraw" it almost sounds like Pathfinder went to print while what was and what wasn't "weapon like" was still being worked out, much like the pre-errata Enlarge person and Reduce person have different rules reasonings.
