I am wrong thinking FF works on AoOs taking on other turns? Wouldn't the text have said "round" instead of turn and "as well as AoOs" instead of "including"?
You're thinking that when your turn ends and the next creature on the initiative list begins, it's a new turn, and thus Furious Focus would apply to the first attack you make on each creature's turn.
I'm pretty sure the intent is that it works like power attack, your first attack ignores the penalty, and it doesn't 'reset' until the beginning of your next turn. Hence, "You still suffer the penalty on any additional attacks, including attacks of opportunity."
However, if you don't make any attacks on your turn, then someone provokes, I would let Furious Focus work on the first AoO you make. I could see it read either way, "You suffer the penalty on any additional attacks, and you also suffer the penalty on any AoOs." vs "You suffer the penalty on any additional attacks, even if those attacks are AoOs." I prefer the 2nd one, personally, YMMV, Ask your DM.
If they said 'round' instead of 'turn' people would be confused thinking it resets at the top of the initiative count (when the next 'round' begins) instead of at the beginning of your next turn. (Look at resetting AoOs for more discussion of rounds vs turns)
