This has been brewing in my brain the last couple of days, so I decided to turn to the best source of gaming advice around; the Paizo Boards.
It's easy to introduce new spells into a game. Spellcasters snatch them up like crazy. New weapons and armor are to a lesser extent, and of course new magic items are very much appreciated by the players. But how do I introduce new feats to the players when not even everyone has a copy of the Core Rulebook, much less new releases? I purchase a lot of the books, and make them available to the players, but they rarely take advantage of them.
I love the options that 3.x and Pathfinder offer for creating characters, and think they should be available to all my players. I can, of course, send links from the Pathfinder Reference Document or d20PFSRD, but one of my players doesn't even own a computer and the other is often too tired from working as a help desk operator to even bother turning his on at home.
So, how can I go about offering new feat options to my players?
Thanks in Advance,
DMCal

When they level up their characters, take a bit after the game to help them stat their freshly leveled characters out.Show them feats that you think each individual player might be interested in,and perhaps even let them retrain a feat.
Most of the leveling up is done at the players' homes, after the game. We tend to run really close to the closing bell at our FLGS, and since I've known these guys for over 2 decades, I trust them all to be fair about hitpoints and such when leveling up. I've made suggestions to some of them, the party cleric in particular, but I'm kinda hinky about loaning books (it goes back to the days of loaning books to players with ravaging children and unsupervised pets...or maybe that's the other way around).
Perhaps a scroll that lists a feat chain or chains from a martial school or the like could pop up in a treasure pile. I might try that.
Thanks for the input!
