Ranged Spellstrike and Dragon Pistol

The Myrmidarch Magus's Ranged Spellstrike ability allows it to fire a ranged touch spell through a ranged attack weapon. The scatter property of the dragon pistol prohibits precision damage and those granted by feats. With this combination would you be able to...

A. Not use them together at all (kind of lame)

B. Only affect 1 target with the spell (this one kind of makes sense but the rules support it the least, i think)

C. Hit multiple targets with a single casting of a spell (possibly over power, most likely not intend at all, but you know would be awesome and might be what the rules allow RAW)

I guess well I'm at it, the same ability {Ranged Spellstrike} with a double barrel pistol specifically becuase of "Both can be fired at once as the same attack" part, though this one i suspect anything less funny coming out of i was just wondering if there was anything that suggested it might actually hit twice. (Or something odd like being able to hit with both parts of a scorching ray early, though it doesn't say it)

I know I'm necroing a spellstrike thread here (my apologies), but Lady Melo does raise an interesting question.

If a single attack allows you to hit multiple targets, using Spellstrike, would your spell affect all struck targets?

The obvious weapons being those above, a Dragon Pistol, A double-barreled pistol or even, I suppose, a Blunderbuss as Spellstrike can be done with a two handed weapon (even though Spell combat can not).

I suppose the balanced thing would for it to affect one chosen target, the nearest target, or for spell damage to be shared amongst the struck targets..

Dragon pistol+spellstrike, Dragon Pistol+Alchemical strike, Dragon pistol+Explosive missile interactions interest me as well and I wouldn't mind an FAQ on the matter.

I would assume that double-barrelled pistols would count as a volleys if both cannons are used, thus applying the spellstrike only once... but for scatter shots? I dunno...

While we're at it, how about automatic weapons presented in PF #71? The machine guns affect lines. Does Spellstrike carry over all targets as well?
