I was just pondering when Paizo will have produced more AP instalmlents than Dungeon issues? (Or if that has already happened). That seems like some kind of corporate milestone worth acknowledging.
We only ever did 3 Adventure Paths in Dungeon Magazine. We passed that milestone 18 months after we started Pathfinder.
(That said, there were about 56 issues of Dungeon—about 1/3 its entire print run—published by Paizo.)

I meant the number of dungeon magazine issues, not just the number of adventure path issues. It seems to me AP57 will be something worth acknowledging, although I'm not sure in exactly what sense.

Ah... Actually, we didn't run the APs in each of those issues. The four APs were each 12 parts long; they only ran in 36 volumes of Dungeon, I believe.

I only recently tracked down those thirty six volumes. Ive a complete set now. :)
Anyhow, it's old news to you no doubt, but in my mind at least, now that you've done more AP instalments than dungeon issues, you've objectively gone from being a company who makes magazines and is moving into book publishing to being a book publisher who used to produce magazines. Not only that but you're still getting better at it. Congratulations.

Heh... fair enough... although I've felt we went away from making magazines and into book publishing more or less with Pathfinder #1. A little before, in fact, since we did a few books even before that (the Shackled City hardcover, for example). Certainly from a standpoint of sales and success and frantic pace of work I've felt like Paizo has been a book publisher since that long; the differences between book publishing and magazine publishing are immense.
