Rules Questions

looking at the ultimate magic book. my player is looking for some answered that i don't know how to answer as a dm, or should i say don't want to break the game without feedback

1. The player is playing a small character (a gnome, meaning he retains a 20ft land speed). His Eidolon on the other hand is a medium bi-ped (with 30ft land speed). The class ability called "Fused Eidolon" allows for the player to take on a form that receives the physical abilities of the Eidolon (str, dex, con) and the mental stats of the Eidolon ( int, wis, cha). The true question is, does the summoner pc gain a 30ft land speed while the Eidolon is summoned?

2. The feat Augmented Summoning allows summoned creatures to gain a +4 enchantment bonus to both Str and Con. does this also count for the Summoned Eidolon from its class feature.

3. since both the caster are the same monster/summoner, can casting a spell on the Eidolon or the summoner effect the combined summoner/Eidolon, such as by the spell magic fang, mage armour, so on and so fourth

Silver Crusade

1. Yes the Synthesist would gain the Movement speed of the Eidolon
2. No, Augment summoning works with the SLA but not with the ritual to summon the Eidolon, If you However Summon the Eidolon via the Summon Eidolon spell they would gain the benefit

3. Yes as they cannot be targeted separately any spell that effects the Eidolon effects the Summoner.. So cast mage armor and they both get it..

If you have more questions there is an Ultimate Magic FAQ on the Sythesist in the top right hand corner of the site, If you have MORE than what those answer We'd be happy to help you.
