The "can't attack adjacent" rule is only for weapons with the "reach" quality. All non-reach weapons threaten to a range equal to your natural reach (and include everything closer than that distance). All reach weapons threaten from a range equal to (natural reach + 5ft) to (natural reach * 2).

For you, non-reach weapons (when large sized) threaten at 5ft and 10ft, and reach weapons threaten at 15ft and 20ft. Any place you threaten, you can AoO someone.

thanks

im using a monk

and my buddy wizard casts enlarge person giving me a increase size category (+8 str +4 con -1 to ac due to size +1 cmb/cmd due to size)

but with this I gain 10ft reach. I know that reach on weapons works so that you only provoke AoO from a 10ft. radius but doesn't it work differently for natural attacks.

would this mean that i can provoke at 10 feet, but still be able to attack at normal 5 ft.

looking at the ultimate magic book. my player is looking for some answered that i don't know how to answer as a dm, or should i say don't want to break the game without feedback

1. The player is playing a small character (a gnome, meaning he retains a 20ft land speed). His Eidolon on the other hand is a medium bi-ped (with 30ft land speed). The class ability called "Fused Eidolon" allows for the player to take on a form that receives the physical abilities of the Eidolon (str, dex, con) and the mental stats of the Eidolon ( int, wis, cha). The true question is, does the summoner pc gain a 30ft land speed while the Eidolon is summoned?

2. The feat Augmented Summoning allows summoned creatures to gain a +4 enchantment bonus to both Str and Con. does this also count for the Summoned Eidolon from its class feature.

3. since both the caster are the same monster/summoner, can casting a spell on the Eidolon or the summoner effect the combined summoner/Eidolon, such as by the spell magic fang, mage armour, so on and so fourth
