Ultimate Combat references a number of abilities/features/etc that have not been included in the book. These may have been cut for space, or have had a name change without fixing all the references. This thread is intended as a depository for all the things that are missing so we can hopefully get some of the missing material provided to us in the form of a blog post/FAQ answer.
So, starting off:
- Tetori (Archetype) - The Bonus Feats for this archetype contain two feats that don't exist, I believe: 10th level-Twin Lock, 18th level-Backbreaker, and Crushing Embrace.
- Magus Arcana section under Kensai archetype, it suggests two arcana for the Magus which do not appear to exist. These are 'deadly follow-up' and 'precise prowess'.
- Phantom Chariot:
"The chariot has all the normal qualities of a heavy chariot with metal scythes (see page 182)."
The spell also mentions "metal scythes", which (sadly) aren't mentioned in the vehicles chapter. Were they cut from the vehicles chapter?
- Creatures that have ranks in Knowledge (engineering) or use
a targeting platform (see below) are not adversely affected by
their size when firing direct-fire ranged siege engines."But "targeting platform" isn't explained below.
- pg. 193, Making Called Shots:
this paragraph mentions a "Vital Shot" feat which I think doesn't exist; should this be "Vital Strike" instead?
- pg. 193, Making Called Shots:
this paragraph mentions "almost impossible called shots" at -20, but none are introduced in this chapter.
- Page 135, under emerging guns a feat called Craft firearms is mentioned.
I believe that it should say gunsmithing, otherwise this feat is missing.
- The following referenced rage powers are missing:
Ghost Hunter, perfect accuracy, greater primal scent, body blow,

The Tetori feats that are missing are particularly discouraging. I'd be happy with an official errata JUST for this. Tetori was the Archtype that I saw and instantly fell in love with, only to have my heart broken by the glaring lack of editing. I haven't been able to pick up the book since and I grow tired of waiting for an errata. Do we have any kind of dates on this that I just haven't found?

- For the Myrmidarch archetype, the following arcana are mentioned but do not appear in UM or UC: lucky strike, precise prowess, stolen skill.
- Under the Musketeer archetype for Cavalier, the Gifted Firearm ability reads,
Quote:
As a standard action, he can focus himself to gain a number of benefits for 1 minute per cavalier level.
The write-up does not seem to say what those benefits are. Am I missing something?
- p. 144 gladiator weapons - paragraph 3 references the Master Combat Performer feat on p. 108. No such feat exists on that page, or in the book that I could find.

Yes, the rest of the text actually describes what benefits you have during the focus: Improved Critical at 8th level, reduced misfire chance at 11th level, etc.

The feat exists on page 109, but doesn't do what the text on page 144 says. The feat Performance Weapon Mastery on page 112 DOES what the text on page 144 says, however.

I found a FIRING PLATFORM mentioned twice in the Skull and Shackles Player's Guide. Could that be it? Relevant quote below:
For an additional 8,000 gp, a galley or warship can be fitted with a ram and castles with firing platforms fore, aft, and amidships. Each of these firing platforms can hold a single Large or Huge direct-fire or indirect-fire siege engine. Siege engines on the fore and aft firing platforms can be swiveled to fire out the sides of the ship or either forward or aft, depending on their position. A siege engine on the amidships can be swiveled to fire out either side of the ship.

Or not...
I don't use this tread to track possible errata; those types of threads need to be placed in the product's errata folders. I strongly doubt that "targeting platform" was speaking to something from Skull & Shackles, since that AP didn't exist at the time Ultimate Combat was being built. In fact, we wanted to use Ultimate Combat to present vehicle rules for ships, but the design team, alas, went in a direction with vehicle combat that made it too impractical to use ships or other vehicles on that scale for nautical conflicts, so we had to build a new system.
In any event, a "targeting platform" is NOT a "firing platform." As far as I can guess (and it's just a guess since I wasn't involved in Ultimate Combat's creation apart from designing the 1st draft of the gunslinger and working a little on gun rules), the targeting platform was something that was cut from the book but then not cut from being referenced elsewhere, and the "or use a targeting platform (see below)" section you bolded above should just be cut from the book.
But again... this isn't the appropriate thread to bring that to our attention. We need to keep our house in order, as you know, so please post this observation over in the rules forum for the designers to see and note and consider.
