Holy + Holy = ?

Rules Questions

If a paladin is wielding a +1 Holy Longsword and uses the Paladin ability to give the Holy Attribute what happens?

In the description for the ability it says that bonuses stack. But does that include the extra weapon damage?

Stacking is stacking. If the ability says it stacks it does period. You can't pick and choose what stacks, it all must.

Silver Crusade

HOLY S@&% !

(Same bonuses don't stack, the same way, you cannot by raw take a Flaming Flaming Flaming weapon. ;p)

EDIT : Quote from d20pfsrd :
"These bonuses are added to any properties the weapon already has, but duplicate abilities do not stack."

the description of the ability says "but duplicate abilities do not stack".

Edit: Maxximilius, edit-ninjaing doesn't count, that's also twice the same bonus

Probably right, but then if the holy stacks as said in the holy ability what actually does stack?

neither the core rulebook nor d20pfsrd says anything about stacking damage on holy weapons.
Where did you get that bit?

Also: Specific beats general, paladin bestowing propreties is more specific than holy.

"Holy

Aura Moderate evocation [good]; CL 7th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, holy smite, creator must be good; Price +2 bonus.
Description

A holy weapon is imbued with holy power. This power makes the weapon good-aligned and thus bypasses the corresponding damage reduction. It deals an extra 2d6 points of damage against all creatures of evil alignment. It bestows one permanent negative level on any evil creature attempting to wield it. The negative level remains as long as the weapon is in hand and disappears when the weapon is no longer wielded. This negative level cannot be overcome in any way (including by restoration spells) while the weapon is wielded."

No mention of anything stacking.

Then the OP really needs to specify what he means.

Where does the holy ability say it stacks?

As others said, you can't ever get it twice. So it doesn't really matter.

Edit: Cursed slow typing via iPhone, ninja'd again!
