Well here's something different. I want to make a character (who will be a Cohort) that helps start a (violent if necessary) revolution.
Here's the background: The party is in a repressive empire that will be summoning demons soon to try and take over the continent. The poor are treated like trash, and there's a lot of resentment amongst the poor.
My main character is a Cleric that focuses on crafting and diplomacy. He is the leader of the revolution.
I need to figure out how to best make a cohort that'll help out with this. I believe I'll be taking Leadership at level 9, so I'll have a level 7 cohort.
The idea is that this guy will go around the poor quarters of cities trying to inflame the poor into action, or at least further spread discontent. Stuff like using magic to grafitti revolutionary sayings / imagery, etc.
My current thoughts are Charlatan Rogue 3 / Demagogue Bard 4. This'll get me access to Rumormonger which I think will be *very* useful for this character. The demagogue gives incite violence, which I think will be fairly useful. My worry about the demagogue is that it's really, really hard to Fascinate a crowd, since I think you'll be doing a max of 4 people around level 17.
What I'm looking for are better combination of classes / archetypes to get this concept, or ideas on rogue talents and bard spells to take. Also, feats.
Thanks for any help!
