FEAT Shadow Strike (Combat): You accurately strike even those you cannot clearly see. Source: Advanced Player's Guide. Prerequisite: Base attack bonus +1. Benefit: You can deal precision damage, such as sneak attack (SA) damage, against targets with concealment (but not total concealment).
ROGUE TALENT Sniper’s Eye (Ex): A rogue with this talent can apply her sneak attack damage on ranged attacks targeting foes within 30 feet that benefit from concealment. Foes with total concealment are still immune.
I am trying to figure out the differences between these two, and which one might be more useful.
The Feat has no range limit. The talent has a limit of 30 feet which SA had anyway...
Is the Feat allowing SA to all w/o total concealment? while the talent adds SA to all w/in 30 feet w/o TOTAL concealment?
Or is Blind Fight better than either? I should say Improved Precise Shot is not an option as it seems like another variant of the same thing...
Being new to this, can anyone give me some examples?

The main differance is it is easier to get feats than talents.
So Shadow Strike is better in acquisition. If you gain an ability to sneak attack farther than 30 ft, than Sniper's eye is weaker.

For a rogue, they are both just as easy. Even level up = Talent, Odd level up = Feat. One could get very spoiled with a rogue...
I took a Rogue Talent = Combat Trick to get Precise Shot at L2.
So one can take the trick talent again to get a Feat at any even level up, and take the Extra Rogue Talent (Feat) to get any talent at an odd level up.
So it really boils down to
Are they the same except for the distance limit?
Shadow Strike is sounding better...

Well, no. You can't retake a talent multiple times.
There's a reason why there are a couple talents that give you a specific feat, even though there's a 'Feat' talent.

There is one very important difference, which makes the feat much better:
Sniper's Eye specifies ranged attacks only. Shadow Strike says no such thing, and therefore also applies in melee.
True, I am just glad that Shadow Strike is not limited to melee,as I want to use it with my bow.
Shadow Strike works with sniper goggles. If you're going for a ranged rogue, you'll be needing those goggles anyways. Snipers eye is restricted to 30' always, whereas sniper goggles let you sneak attack at any range.
Why would Shadow Strike require Sniper Goggles? -- it reads like it removes the need for them...

True, but There is a Combat Trick (taken) and a Combat Trick 2 so I can take it one more time.
