Is Cloning party members and then selling the clones as food evil?

Just wondering, I personally think I'm sitting on a gold mine here. Do I need to offer them a cut of the profits? personally I think I can have a long pig franchise going in every major city but minor moral quibbles are troubling me.

A good rule of thumb is that if you have to ask yes it is evil.

Why not just continually restore the flesh of a dead cow? much easier, simpler, less overhead. Not evil.

We already have an intentionally stupid thread about "Is <x> Evil?".

Please stop diluting the boards :(

Sir I like what you are saying and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

Soylent Green IS PEOPLE!!!!!!!

At first, I'm tempted to say that it is automatically evil, but if you have the permission of the clones and their parents/ guardians, then it would really be the same as euthanasia. The selling the parts thing isn't the issue- organ donors do that all the time (often for free, see donor). The issue is then whether or not euthanasia is evil. Do you live in Oregon?

Perhaps chaotic good? Feeding the masses cheaply can't be bad. Lawful if you sell the franchise or sub contract.

A better question is, is vat-grown party member flesh vegan? Either way you stand on this critical issue (and related ones like Troll-In-A-Can), we'd like these "is [blah] evil" threads to pass quietly into the archives sooner rather than later.
