Adept Channel (Orcs of Golarion)

Rules Questions

Hey all. I'm working on a Half Orc Oracle of Battle was checking out the Adept Channel. Looks like a great feat except for the Summon Familiar ability prerequisite. Is there way to get that feat without being a Multi-classing character? Or has anyone houseruled that you don't need the Summon Familiar ability so it will be attractive to players?

I believe the feat is meant for NPCs with levels in the Adept NPC class, such as Orc shamans.

And thus out of reach of PCs, unless they desire to take levels in Adept.

Eldritch Heritage (Arcane Bloodline) feat from Ultimate Magic with familiar picked could be considered a substitute for Summon Familiar feature. Of course it would require GM's approval.

Ok. That's some food for thought.

It just seems like a really good, though situational, feat. I'm just wondering if any one had asked a GM about using the feat without the Summon Familiar prereq since it's pretty steep as far as the other prereqs as well as being significantly underpowered (Minimum 4th Level Caster, with the power being at -3 cleric levels).

Also, has any GMs toyed with this feat by putting it on an Adept or removing the Summon Familiar prereq? Seems like a good ability for a villian divine caster.

[Edit: I just realized, this may need to get sent over to the conversion/houseruled side.]
