Would this work on an Oracle? I don't see any reason why not due to the wording of the spell, and neither curse states that the condition cannot be overcome through spellcasting. Yes, it is a 3rd level spell but everything has a price tag, your thoughts?

Per the entry "The oracle’s curse cannot be removed or dispelled without the aid of a deity." So, no it would not work.

You missed a very important sentence. Emphasis is mine.

Page 43, APG:

Oracle's Curse (Ex): Each oracle is cursed, but this curse come with a benefit as well as a hindrance. This choice is made at 1st level, and once made, it cannot be changed. The oracle's curse cannot be removed or dispelled without the aid of a deity.

I see thank you.

the 'aid' of a 'deity' is a term that is ripe for abuse.

in one way of interpreting the cleric class, we can say that a cleric is a vessel for the miracles of thier patron god. by this interpretation, we can consider any spell cast by a cleric to be the 'divine aid' of a 'deity'.

thus, if we use this odd interpretation of the cleric class, a cleric, by channeling thier patron god's miracle (casting a spell) can remove the drawbacks of an oracle's curse.

Yes, but then the deity sends flaming cows raining down from the sky to smite you due to removing the curse he placed upon his Vessel without explicitly asking him.

but curing an oracle of the drawbacks derived from thier curse is a great way to advertise your deity's religion. a great way to provide material to provide followers.

Or, just a really lame, cheezy metagame attempt to remove a part of a class a player doesn't like.
