This bright red strip of cloth, stitched with images of a cheering crowd throwing garlands toward a chariot, fits across the wearer's shoulders and then diagonally down his chest to reach his opposite hip. The wearer treats his fighter level as 4 higher than normal for the purpose of the armor training and bravery class features.
1) If I have no levels in fighter, does this effectively give me access to Bravery 2 and Armor Training 1? Or do I need a level in Fighter to get the benefit, and thus it does nothing...
2) If I'm a fighter that has taken an archetype that gives up armor training and bravery (which is most of them), what does this sash do for me?
2A) Nothing.
2B) Add 4 to my '0 level' fighter ability, effectively giving me Bravery +2 and Armor Training 1?
2C) Add 4 to my level in whatever abilities replaced Bravery and Armor Training?
As this is for PFS play, this needs a somewhat more definitive answer than "Ask your GM..."

Sash of the War Champion is from the APG.
You cannot improve a feature you do not have. It'd be like wearing Silver Smiting Bracelets and saying your rogue has Smite Evil.
If you've given up a feature, you don't have it.
Thus, in both instances, the sash does nothing.
Also, if your archetype gives up weapon training, even if the ability works similarly, Gloves of Dueling have nothing to improve, so they also don't work, at least for giving you Weapon Training +2
