Detect Magic and Overwhelming Aura

What effect does an overwhelming magic aura have?

In the various Detect Alignment spells (Detect Good/Detect Evil/etc.) it's clearly spelled out. But for Detect Magic (Core Rulebook, p.267), it's just sort of mentioned in the table.

DM: You detect a magic aura nearby.
Player: Sweet! Keep concentrating...
DM: You've discovered an overwhelming aura...
Player: Overwhelming? So...what happens?
DM: Ummm....well...you're...uh...overwhelmed?

Is there an effect? I can't tell. :(

No effect, the caster of Detect Magic just knows it is either a 10th level spell or a 21st caster level item (artifact.)

Pretty much that, no effect by RAW. However, feel free to have them momentarily stunned or blinded for a round if you feel that such power needs to be emphasized. Sometimes overwhelming should be just that: overwhelming.
