Versatile Weapon: Does it give the enhancement bonus from Greater Magic Weapon?

This text seems to imply that's what happens. If it didn't add the enhancement bonus, then adding the "This spell functions like greater magic weapon" part doesn't make any sense.

Yes, it is Greater Magic Weapon except that it goes a step beyond, allowing you to bypass an additional form of DR with it.

The explanation that missing which you'd have to go looking for has to do with base enchantments and DR
e.g.
+3 weapons bypass cold iron and silver DR
+4 weapons bypass adamantium DR
+5 weapons bypass alignment DR

the spell basically gives you the DR bypass benefit of a higher enchantment without the benefit of the attack and damage bonus.

I agree, that's what it does as written. Note that versatile weapon also has a shorter duration than greater magic weapon.
