Can you enhance them through regular means such as crafting? What does it think about the whole thing? Can you add special powers that are reserved for intelligent weapons to it, and if so does any of this affect its ego score?

the question has been asked many, many times on these boards. No official answer has been given.

The general rules for intelligent items dictate the extra abilities would add to its ego.

Since there is no way to determine what the ego of a BB is due to its unique advancement, I don't believe it can be upgraded (short of temporarily threw spells)

Yeah, i'd definately say you can't enchant it beyond using your arcane pool.

As it doesn't follow the normal ego proggresion rules, they would have said how it's ego changes with additional enchantments if you COULD do it.
