I clearly remember dodge bonuses stacking but i can't remember about competence.
So anyone who does?
The general rule is that bonuses of the same type do not stack. Dodge bonuses are called out as a specific exception to this rule. Occasionally specific feats will stack with each other, but are special cases and will say so explicitly (like, say, Improved and Greater Disarm stacking with each other).
Also note that some bonuses do not have a type at all, and therefore can't have the same type as anything else, and are therefore not prevented from stacking.

I asked this because i remember people saying that after an errata the bard's inspire courage bonus changed from morale and would stack with other effects.
I guess that they meant that since there are so few effects that give competence bonus that means that the bard's inspire courage bonus pretty much stacks with everything.
Anyway thank you.

It's not listed in my errata document, but the PRD says:
Inspire Courage: An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.
I don't have my book handy to see if it's secret errata or if I've just been reading it wrong all along. Hooray for Bards and Bless/Heroism/GoodHope!

In my book (2nd printing i think) says competence bonus.

It's not an errata, it's a straight-forward Pathfinder change.
In 3.5 circumstance bonuses also typically stacked- the phrasing was something like unless they arise form essentially the same circumstance. Dunno if this still applies in PF.
It does, though the number of circumstance bonuses seems to have been reduced.
Also remember of course two bonuses (typed or untyped) from an identical/equivalent source do not stack. Two of the same spell, or if an item granted a feat that you already had. So even though Dodge bonuses stack, getting the Dodge feat twice would not.
