I'm proud to announce Mythic Menagerie: Howl at the Moon, the seventh in our line of monster books, is available now! Each volume in this line presents a small set of monsters tied to a single theme, but spread over a range of CRs. For Howl at the Moon, author and monster maestro Sam Hing has chosen a theme of weremonsters and shapechangers more exotic than the typical werewolf or wererat. In addition to playing with less common choices, we've made an effort to find iconic weremonsters for various environments. Within these pages you will find a wide assortment of creatures that fear silver, from the swamp's CR 3 werefrog to the ocean's CR 10 wereorca and finally the monstrous CR 19 therianthropic beast.
Mythic Menagerie: Howl at the moon presents 8 new monsters, listed below:
Therianthropic Beast
Weredeimonychus
Werefrog
Wereorca
Wereowl
Werescorpion
Weretyrannosaurus
Werewolverine
Note that while the book is laid out over 18 pages, we originally had it squeezed into 12 pages. However, that layout was cramped and had to use. We decided to open up the layout, which takes more room but makes the product easier to use. Even so, I think of this as a 12-page product spread over 18 pages, rather than an 18-page product.

AGP? Did you mean APG?

I think she's referring to the All-Genius Pass, our subscription plan to get all SGG PDGs as well as all the Dungeonaday.com adventure content.

yes i do, i bought almost every product they put out last year, so it makes sense for me. At least for now, there are certain downsides, like the fact that you dont keep access to everything, products rotate in and out of availability for download as they are released.

That one would be a deal killer for me. I've yet to lose data, but I'm happy to pay more to know that as long as the company I bought something from is around I can later download it if something bad happens.

We may not advertise it enough, but we keep track of everybody's subscriptions. While items only stay in the "store" for 5 weeks, if you ever need a download of anything from your subscription just let us know, and we'll take care of it. From one file you didn't originally download to complete data loss, we'll get everything back to you!

That's good to know. Thanks for the clarification. I think I understand the reason why you'd have to do it that way, but it's still easier to recover a purchase through Paizo if it ever becomes necessary for me to do so.

Hey everyone!
The good folks at Dungeonmastering.com approached me about doing a weekly blog about my work etc
dungeonmastering.com
It's called Pen & Pixel
Each week I’ll talk a bit about an illustration from my portfolio, explaining both the brainstorming and the backstory. Then, the reader who posts the Coolest Comment about it and/or that weeks blog (may be something serious or funny or insightful) gets the original illustration mailed to them, for free!
This week's blog talks about the art in Monster Menagerie: Howl at the Moon!
Be sure to pop over and check it out (and don't forget to leave a comment - that's all you have to do to get a chance to win the original art free!)
Behold the weretyrannosaurus!

I know this is a bit late but finally got to see the Cabalist and think about it. I do like the concept of a spontaneous magus but my concerns are:
1) With cross-referencing Bard, magus, and sorcerer charts it seems like its a bit over complicated in the bookkeeping department.
2) With gaining a bloodline, your effectively crossing over into sorcerer. Why? If you want a bloodline, go sorcerer.
3) At higher levels, you get a bunch of abilities/spells all at once. Seems kinda nothing to everything.
My thoughts on this one would be to keep it magus style. Intelligence based spontaneous caster with casting 1 less spell per level and 1 less spell gained per level. This would be offset by the magus copying new spells into their spellbooks they can cast spontaeously. Simpler yet still covers the basics for a spontaneous caster without stepping on other classes toes.

Replied over at the New Magus Arcana page.
