Say you wanted to make a synthesist and your eidolon is a quadruped or serpentine, how would that work?
When you summon your eidolon it appears around your character as a translucent being. If it is serpentine or quadruped you are probably on all fours or maybe stretched out with your arms and legs tight against you.
