Could someone in authority please provide examples of how this feat does and does not work, and provide any potential errata for it?

They only provide errata in the errata documents, never online(in at message board thread). They are well aware of the feat and the thread it spawned.
PS:That does not mean they won't change it in the future, but they know about the debate it caused in the other thread.
