This game was in the making almost since I joined the Paizo boards, but it was never realized - mostly because I couldn't find the setting and rules set that capture my imagination in the manner that allows me to create stories and run the games.

Now that has changed. I have managed to buy Alpha Omega game by Mindstorm Labs and I feel that the setting is both grim and imaginative enough for me to tell a story using that setting as a stage.

I realize that Alpha Omega is not well known game and that is based on completely new set of rules - they are new for me as well - but I am willing to give this a shot.

I am looking for up to six players that can familiarize themselves with the setting and the rules. For this, you would need Alpha Omega Core Rulebook.

If I can get enough players, we will determine together where will game be played.

I have the core rulebook. It's some very interesting and innovative mechanics. It's the only other 'new' game released, Eclipse Phase being the other, that has grabbed my attention to the point that I'd like to play.

So count me in.

Incidentally, Mindstrom Labs does have some free download material to give just enough information to get a grasp of the system and setting.

Cool played it at gen con and got the book but have been waiting for someone to run a game of it. Count me in!

I have the Core Rulebook and The Encountered, the Monster's Manual, essentially. So, I'm equipped to run the game. I plan to try one relatively short adventure, and if it runs OK, to expand it to campaign.

It seems to me that there will not be enough interest in this game. I need six players, so I am glad that you applied.

Is this going to be a PbP game or will you be using some flavor of VTT? I'm certainly interested in playing either way, but my schedule may not permit me to join a VTT game unless it's at night US time.

I planed to do a pbp, but not if I can't get six players. I'll give the game 'till Friday, and if there is not enough interest, I will sadly call it a no go.

I have the Alpha Omega rulebook PDF lying around and could be enticed to give this a go.

I'm assuming it would be standard character generation as per the rules? - any restriction on races or evolution?

Have the core book. The deal is I'm getting near the end of the quarter, but Alpha Omega is VERY cool and I'd love to join in, especially if you plan to start after June 9th. I could start sooner, but I'll be a better poster after then.
