Oh yah, I hear you. Fncking wanted to get my tomatoes planted today. Was just preppping the bed when *WHOOSH!*
Shakes paw at grey sky
I was gonna do some more trimming around my backyard fence, and clean out the front garden. But noooooo....

Here it is grim and grey. Rain alternating with muggy ickiness. My little heirlooms thirst for dirt to grow in!
*grumble
this is the first day of the past two weeks, TWO WEEKS that we haven't had rain, and instead of being 80 like last week, it decided to be 50.
I hate this weather :(

*grumble It is nice for once. I hope it stays this way tomorrow for I shall spend most of the day, weather prevailing, on my porch listening to music or perhaps reading Conan.
Chris checks out the window.
Yep, I still live in Seattle. Cloudy, rainy, and a touch chilly but not too chilly.
Otherwise known as perfect.
Yesterday was raining and grey. I spent the day curled up with a good book and two cats. It was perfect :)
My grandma used to point out about living in the PNW, that all the rain is what made it so green and beautiful here and gives us some amazing flowers like rhododendrons and tulips.
Looks like we skipped Autumn (fall) in Sydney this year and went from 30'C to 20'C days - It probably will bottom out at 17'C in July.

shakes fist Chris revels in the light drizzle and cool air.
Uh It's normal; spring time weather here in Norfolk,VA.
A bright sunny 70 degrees with no chance of rain.
Now wait till oh say JUNE - august then were talkin 100 temps and we don't even want to talk about the humidity.
Perfect reason to go to Bush Gardens early then game when it gets too hot then go danceing late at night on the beach at our favorite bar. Like I said typical summer here. :)

Now that's the kind of awesome weather I'm talking about. Reminds me of growing up in Louisiana, except it was like that more often than not.
95 degree wind is my least favorite thing of all the Texas weather suckiness.
Spanky the Leprechaun wrote: 95 degree wind is my least favorite thing of all the Texas weather suckiness. So the wind in Texas hits you at slightly more than a right angle? ;)
At least y'all don't have to deal with the 90 degrees almost freaking liquid air we get in NC during this time of year.
I'm from Florida, and I'd prefer it.
Soon it will be 95 degrees at 9:30 at night.
A supertyphoon just narrowly missed overrunning the Philippines. Turned north at the last minute. Coulda been that Radavel's house was gonna get submerged again. Still there was lots of flooding. Raining like all hell right now.
*whew*

And here I was worried about tornadoes that never came.

*whew* And here I was worried about tornadoes that never came. Sometimes tornadoes are worse. We have them up in Alberta too. I saw one back in '82 or '83. It's the pinpoint destruction. Surgical strike of the natural disaster world.
The one I saw killed 14 people. Just at the edge of town. Lucky.
back in the early 90's we had one "skip" through town. It would level one street jump 5-6 and then hit another. My mothers place was spared, but it got the local KFC. They replaced it and the donut store with a Pizza hut.
I was going to complain about the weather, but then I thought "Well, at least I'm not having my town destroyed by tornadoes or flooding."
Had a bunch of tornados in Massachusetts yesterday. Two long track ones, which are very rare here. They hit our second biggest city, and did some real big damage.
19 cities but so far it seems 1 confirmed death. You never hear about them out that away. Glad the death toll was not worse.
Weather has been sucking again...Hope everyone is having fun and nice weather in the Seattle area.
According to Weather.com, Philly is supposed to get some crapppy ass weather the next couple of days.
Had marble sized hail 5 days ago in Western NC ... just odd.
At least it cooled things off for a bit. Was a heavy thunderstorm and had about a 15 F drop in temperature in about 10-15 minutes.
I am also tired of rain. Last Winter had enough precipitation, and ever since Spring arrived, rain has been pouring non-stop.
