So what do YOU do when a player in your group is inflicted with Lycanthropy?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

In light of the recent adventure path article on the subject of lycanthropy...what would YOU do if one of your characters ended up getting bitten and cursed?

i'm just mildly curious.

If something vaguely humanoid or previously humanoid bit me, I'd hightail it to a church and have them cast Remove Disease on me.

Well, if a player is infected with lycanthropy, my first instinct is to rush them to the hospital and pray the doctors know what they're doing.

A character with lycanthropy is a far less urgent matters. Waiting 24 hours for remove disease is no big deal.

Speaking as a DM ... allow the Player to advance their character with Levels of the appropriate Were-creature Prestige Class as detailed in Issue 313 of Dragon Magazine.

It was a lot of fun.

FWIW,

sometimes its good that the other party members decide to put their new pet wolf out of its misery.

another thought is to have the big wolf guy infect everyone in the party!

Doesn't a simple Remove Disease spell to solve the situation seem a little too easy?
