Hey guys one of my players come to me asking if he could build an Iron horse. Since they are on the third book they keep encountering Rocs. In stead of attacking the characters in armour the rocs go for horses. (look at the Pic in the beastry why)
Now this player wants to build an iron horse.
Can you give me some advice on this please?

Does PF have the equivalent of the D&D 'Kwalish's marvelous contraption'
or whatever it was called? Basically it was kind of like a submarinewith legs etc.
It could be a starting place for a build...
Whichever way you go - it'd more than likely be a one-off item otherwise
we'd have heard of them before now, & therefore be prohibitively expensive
to research & build...especially at such a low level...

Take a look at this thread. That's the closest you are going to find to an 'official' answer, I think.

There are also pretty extensive rules for construct construction in Ultimate Magic that should allow them to build (or pay to have built) what they need if they have enough money. Not sure it is an investment I would make, but could be fun for flavor.
It might be more cost effective to invest in barding, or to be really nasty, spiked barding, or to notch it up a level from that, poisoned spiked barding. There's a reason most predators leave porcupines alone.
