After reading this post from Patrick Curtin,I thought I might do something to offer a little olive branch the fanbase of Razor Coast over this complete fiasco, which has been a mess from beginning to end no thanks to me. Back in Decemeber, LPJ Design started releasing it new campaign setting for Pathfinder, NeoExodus: A House Divided. The first release of this was the free product, NeoExodus Chronicles: World of Exodus. It has been well received and LPJ Design released NeoExodus Chronicles: Races of Exodus. NeoExodus Chronicles: Races of Exodus received a positive rating from both Endzeitgeist and Megan Robertson at Paizo.com. I have decided to all those who pre-ordered Razor Coast or might be interested, to give a special coupon to pick up a copy of NeoExodus Chronicles: Races of Exodus for only $1.99. While this might be the same comfort as getting a copy of Razor Coast in the mail, I hope this might provide you will a little gaming enjoyment. We all know the felling when someone we admired has let us down. While this doesn’t solve the problem, I hope it make it a little easier to deal with.

Ok here's my 2 cents, instead of using your terribly unfunny prank to sell your own product (i dont believe this is your view but its how i can see it) maybe you should focus on the actual critiques of your products. What i am hearing is sloppy editing and sometimes underwhelming baddies and whathaveyou. You made a mistake, owned it (although not very well IMO) so move on from this. The more you bring it up the longer it's gonna last. So instead of having a sale to push your own line you should find a new editor and rethink your creative priorities and release the best product youve made thus far.

And then maybe to show you can do something worthwhile and not be an ass, do not sell it, give it away. That way everyone can see if anything else you produce is worth the money spent on it.

Louis,
First of all, I would like to thank you for your offer. While I still find your 'April Fools' joke in extremely poor taste, it didn't warrant the opprobrium that I heaped upon you and your products. That was small-minded and petty of me, and all I can say is that you struck a raw nerve with your badly-executed joke. I once again apologize for reacting more heatedly than such an insignificant bit of ill-conceived humor required.
Secondly, I would appreciate it if you removed my personal name from this thread's title. I would rather not be called out singly. The (former) fans of Nicolas Logue are many. I just happened to post a thought on a thread. I have heard from others you have also used my name in your blog and your Facebook page, I would respectfully ask that you remove them from those places as well.
Thank you,
Patrick

No problem. I will see if I can get someone at Paizo to remove it here.

ya know, it would probably improve your standing here if you actually had a larger presence and responded to what people are asking of you etc

Apparently specifically you are looking for something specific from me based on your previous comments. But since you have said you don't purchased my products due to the quality of them, how could you ever gauge if there was an improvement in the product's quality you would want? Like you said, you no longer purchase my products, so you are not a customer of mine.

Until now, I've followed, but not commented on the entire Razor Coast, April Fool's Day, Apology mess that's developed. However, the "you are not a customer of mine" comment really strikes me in the wrong manner. In order to stake out my own place, while I respect Nick Logue's work, I never pre-ordered Razor Coast nor any of his other products and I have purchased LPJ Design products in the past.
With that said, any publisher, third party or otherwise, that writes off a customer, former customer, or potential customer in such a cavalier manner bothers me. All of us (well the vast, vast majority of us) have a finite amount of available cash to spend of gaming products and when the producer of gaming products implies in a public forum that they don't particularly care about a customer... well that speaks for itself.
I also agree with Robert Hawkshaw that this whole thing should just die miserable death and be done with and with Hyperion-Sanctum that this whole "second apology" or whatever it is seems like a marketing ploy for NeoExodus. I think most of us understand that we've all made jokes that didn't translate well and sometimes it's best just to say "I screwed this up, sorry, I'll try not to do it again" and let it be done with that.

Yeah tough crowd, but two things:
1. I'm not sure what this whole "Razor Coast" thing is but it seems like a person took a bunch of money with the promise of delivering a product for it. Then said person disappeared with the money and delivered no product. This sounds like robbery or fraud to me so I'm not sure why it is being dealt with on these boards, sounds like a law enforcement issue.
2. "NeoExodus" is about the worst setting name I have read. What's with the pseudo Hungarian notation in a fantasy setting name?
Good luck all.

I think there are a few points that are a little off here. Hyperion-Sanctum has stated that he does like like my products and does not purchase them. If he does not purchase my products, then he can't be a customer of mine. Potential customer, yes. Actually customer, no. I didn't write him off, he wrote LPJ Design off. He said that he was not going to purchase my products. I didn't say I wouldn't sell to him. I am in business to sell products, I WANT people to purchase my products. But if they find something they don't like about them, I am not going to try to "force them" to purchase. I can't do that, they can only choose to buy what they want. I would be glad to have Hyperion-Sanctum as a customer, but if he doesn't want to there is nothing I can do about that, except putting out products and hope he finds one interesting.

When I start me own gaming company, I promise I'll deliver you people actual entertaining attention whoredom instead of bleak, trite, and tedious.
So.
When my first pdf, "teh compleat fishwife" comes out, I promise to eat one raw sheep's rectum for every 10 pdf's I sell the first day and I'll post it on Youtube when I eat them and when I puke them back up!!!

I was a RC preorder.
I didn't care for the april fool's thing and the rest(i personally felt it was in poor taste.), but life is full of bad judgements. (my own for making the preorder in hindsight, for example.)
You apologising for it was a nice thing to do.
Weather this offer is good intentioned or a way to try to gain some marketing/business doesn't matter to me, it's still a nice offer in itself.
Good luck to you.
