Hi Paizo,

I'm a huge fan of your work. Question for you.

If I buy your books at my local gaming store (I do want to support them too), can I then buy a PDF copy of the same book from you on the paizo website?

There is nothing preventing you from buying the PDFs here and the hard copy at your local store, except your own wallet. :)

If you're asking about getting a free/discounted PDF from buying at your store, they haven't determined an economical, legitimate way for them to offer such a service that prevents fraud and piracy. The main difficulty being tracking each individual customer without an account.

my problem is when I click on a Pathfinder product on this Paizo website, there is no link to just buy a PDF version.

They always say buy the hardcover book and get the PDF version.

Example: the new Beastiary 2. If I look up that product there is no link to just buy the PDF (and I already have a hard copy).

Bestiary

Here is the link for the bestiary. On the upper right quadrant of the screen there is a link to buy a hardcover ("add hardcover") and right below that a pdf ("add pdf")

If you have already purchased the pdf from paizo, their will be one more line below that says "in your downloads"

Also if you are in the list of products - for example the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Books then to the right of each product listed there is an option for buying either the hardcover or pdf.
