So after having time for more RPGs after my 2 sons grew up a little, I started back with 4th edition. I was excited to play again and had a lot of carrier over roleplaying ability that I infused 4th with. Ya, that lasted about 6 sessions.
Then, I started wondering why I was playing 40k with my D&D figures. Then some folks at my FLGS talked to me about Pathfinder. I read over some online reviews and read some of the core rulebook.
2 days later and the whole set of core books is at my house.
I wanted to share the enthusiasm I have for Pathfinder and remind each of you the first time you cracked open the books and realized that our RPG hadn't died.
Thanks Paizo

Couldn't agree more. I started with 3.5 and played it for about 2 years, then saw they were making a 4th edition. Gave it it's fair chance and actually liked a lot of the changes. Then ACTUALLY PLAYED a game and realized that it quite simply is not the game for me and my fellow adventurers. We would have simply just gone back to 3.5 until a clerk at our local gaming store pointed us to Pathfinder or "D&D 3.75" as he called it. Looked it up online and downloaded the pdf files (a HUGE HUGE HUGE Win for Paizo in my opinion), read through them and set up a few sessions.......
Can you guess what game we play and love now? Pathfinder has completely re-invigorated my love for RPGs. Thanks paizo, I owe you one.

I started with AD&D and kept updating when the rules did. Then I bought the 4th edition books and nearly cried myself to sleep. I kept playing and running 3.5 until I was invited to play PF. Wanting to expand my experiences, and not knowing anything about PF, I jumped in both feet.
I was blown away.
Thank you Paizo.
