This has most likely been asked already, but I didn't find it. I apologize if it has.
Casting a touch spell allows a character to 'hold' it until it is released, is there any negative side effect for taking damage while holding.
Example; Cleric casts cure serious wounds and then moves towards the fighter in melee with a creature that has a 15' reach provoking an AoO does the cleric have to make a concentration check to hold the spell?
I haven't seen anything to say 'yes' you have to make a concentration check, but I wanted to check here as well.

Holding a charge is not the same thing as concentrating on a spell. Holding a charge once the spell is cast does not require concentration checks. So no could can not "disrupt" a caster holding a charge.

Do note that while holding a charge, even if you accidentally 'touch' something the charge goes into it. The wording on that is kind of vague... but it would seem to imply that if someone touched you (unarmed or natural attack) the charge would go into it.
If so, awesome if you were holding shocking grasp. Opposite of awesome if you were holding cure serious wounds.

If you touch anything or anyone while holding a charge, even unintentionally, the spell discharges.
Since your feet are touching the floor, your body is touching your clothes, etc., you can't read this too literally. We've always played it as "If you touch anything or anyone WITH THE BODY PART YOU USE TO HOLD THE CHARGE, etc.".
So if I'm empty-handed, cast a touch spell, hold the charge, and pick up a lantern with the other, I'm fine, but if I'm wielding a shield, cast a touch spell and ... oops, no free hand to pick up the lantern.
But, as always, check with your DM, YMMV, etc.
