F@@+ that. Let me know if anything important was discussed.
And Math is FUN!
Yes. I save my math homework for last cause it helps me de-stress. :)
et tu, Jess Door?
Heh. I'm a computer engineer. Not liking numbers would make that...problematic.
I read physics books for fun.
Nothing...human....does that.
freak.(you and my father)
Put me firmly in the "Don't like MATHZ" camp. I'm great with basic math, I might even enjoy it, but all the higher level stuff just leaves me feeling silly. Now plop some classic lit or philosophy down in front of me and my eyes light up like a kid with a new toy, but math and I never got along well.
I remember one summer we lost power (we were at the end of a loooong old power line, lost power during most summer storms), and I was bored. Well, we had this "introduction to calculus" coffee table book. I think my dad bought it as an intro to calc because he could never get it, and always was annoyed that he couldn't. Anyway, I was about 13, and bored, so I started reading. Boy, did that whet my appetite for higher level math!
I did math contests all through junior high, and did 3 years of math as an independent study my senior year of high school. Linear Algebra and Numerical Methods was when math started to be a difficult as it was fun, for me. :) I was my calc teacher's pet in college because I also took art, and I would not only draw equation maps, but I would shade them so you could clearly see the three dimensions pretty well. :)
Usually when I read physics books for fun, they're heavy on the conceptual, and only touch on the math. That's more fun to read. I don't do math problems for fun...well, complicated ones, anyway. I haven't used calc in years and thus only remember the basics at this point. I do do a lot of math related to tabletop rpgs for fun and modelling purposes though...

ugh, I think I bombed the interview today. The reason I think was anxious today. (spoilered for length/rant)
I had a couple of cokes(the brand) last night, and had a hard time sleeping before my roommate and his girlfriend came home. She stayed the entire weekend Friday afternoon till about 30 minutes ago. First night I went to moms, an hour drive away btw, and came back Saturday night. First, I felt like the third wheel Saturday night. Second, when they got home last night they woke me up. Third, when they went to bed at four in the morning, not to sleep right away mind you, they woke me up. I had to be up at five to get ready for class. I went to class half asleep to play with high amperage, stick welding, not a good thing when consistency is a major goal. Had to take a nap before my interview, but I still felt sleep deprived. That's it, I think I am gonna kill him next time I see him.

My real problem is with my roommate. Be courteous to others. I have to be up at 5 am for classes. I can't skip because I carpool with a classmate and can't miss more than 3 days per module. Luckily I haven't missed one day yet, but in this field exp. is king and I don't want to miss. His girlfriend can skip class, I can't. Let me sleep. If they are going to engage in coitus, let me not be here for it. The head of his bed is against the wall to my closet which is three feet form my bed. It drives me nuts. That, and I am a bit jealous. but arrggggghhhhhhhhh.

Sorry to hear you don't demo the toys, Solnes. Depending on how your store felt about it, i would be glad to start a class, although I live a ways away and have yet to actually run a *real* class on the subject.
I demo the toys, simply not on real people. I should have maybe specified. I have no problem taking a toy out, tossing batteries in it and explaining how and where it goes where it does. :)

I cannot remember the author's name at this point, but he wrote two essays that take an in-depth look at two classic modules. The first was WG4, The Forgotten Temple of Tharizdun, and the second was C1, The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan. He goes beyond the text to provide new insight into the adventures, postulates what the authors may have been thinking during development, and introduces a host of new ideas to help round out these classics.

Good Luck, not many of us are true screamers. Most of the women I know (if there are people around) will moan or sigh, or bury our faces in pillows to muffle would be screams. :P
