So...an Amazon would like Thor?
Well, it was a good series.
Plus, there is some supposed evidence which supports that practice amongst historical Amazons.

I sent a nicely worded email to the group. And the GM was personally offended that I didn't call him first.
I mean, I guess I can kinda see his point, but 1) we never talk on the phone about... well anything really and 2) It's not like I had issues with anybody that had to be worked out, I just couldn't handle/afford the long drive anymore.
I don't get why he'd be upset, since it has nothing to do with the group. It's not like the venue was going to change. Hopefully, he'll get over it.
I hope so to, but I got a nasty email in response to the email that I sent... In which I was told it was chicken s%@! to send an email instead of calling. 0.o
That bridge is burning and while I'll be glad to put it out, I'm not going to be the first one to pour a bucket of water.
I'm hoping things will calm down and work out. : \
Tiffs between mutual friends suck.

Seeing as I've already made one post complaining about how things were better when I was young, can I just add that our rock-stars were hotter and often made better videos

GF failed the third driving test :-(
Driving Licsense Test are (like the mandatory bi-yearly car check) made by the TÜV (Technical Inspection Association).
She did a realy good 45 Min drive, inner City: OK, Autobahn: OK, overland: OK, reverse parking at side of street: OK
Drive back to Tüv building, last thing: backward into parking space, made it perfectly in one stroke - than did not brake and rammed the TÜV Building :-/ I hope in a few month she can laugh about it ....
so another round of Candlelight Döner and cheerfull DVD's

Sorry to hear that.
It's scarily much easier here in the States: show up, demonstrate you can read at a 4th-grade level, pay your money, voila! You have a license. At least that's the way it seems in North Carolina.

So, my grandmother, who has Alzheimer's, had a psychotic episode last night. My aunt and uncle are there, so they're trying to make sure she gets a proper evaluation.
:\ That's tough stuff, taig. My three surviving grandparents are 91 (as of yesterday, happy birthday grandma!), and 79 and 80. My mom, however, is a geriatric nurse - was the Director of Nursing at a nursing home for years. While this puts a lot of strain and expectation on her to help out as our grandparents age, it also gives us peace of mind that she can help us make sure we're always doing the best thing possible we can when navigating all the difficult decisions as they get older.

Woke up this morning to all three kids having trashed our living room, toys, cereal on the floor, the works. Oh, and the little one running around sans clothing... and I still love being Dad.
Parenthood:It's a mental illness! :P
Remember -
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids!

Be sure they check any meds she's on. My grandmother's raving psychosis was caused by a bad combo of meds from her various conditions, prescribed by a doc who I think was more senile than she. Once she was in the hospital, the new docs checked the very careful records my mom kept of her meds and took her off about half. She was able to come home fairly quickly once they got out of her system.
