My dad has been in a nursing home for several years, and is now declining very fast. I spent the weekend standing vigil for him.
I am trying to get caught up, and if it is not too much trouble can we put any scenes with which my characters are involved on a brief hold while I catch up with 200-ish posts?

I fail to understand why these threats would be tolerated at all. (Other then the metagame reason- they're PC's.) I'd just kill them. I'm a cruel, cold ****, though.

Things that can destroy the planet tend to make me angry.
But then again, I'm immature, and the reason behind it, is on some level, I'm always thinking, how can i compete? My characters are so irrelevant in comparison to charecters that could wipe out planets. Whether it's a reason or not, it's always a nagging thing in the back of my head.

Anyway, just ignore me. Even my charecters wouldn't do that (save adon). They are much more merciful then i am.
If it makes you feel better, none of my characters could end the planet either. (Well, I supposed Vare could with a poorly worded Wish spell, but that's never gonna happen xD)

Now, GMing, that's ... well, a different beast, depending on how you GM, I suppose. Technically, however, it should be focused on the PC's reactions to in-game situations, nothing to do with out of the game.
