Good evening my fawtl brethren. Popping in to wish everybody a good weekend. And to let FHDM know that the damage/DR houserules are working out great, now the dagger weilding rogue stays relevant!! :)

Should be able to get them posted here within the next week.

I am in downtown manhattan. Adventure part the first :eating artichoke pizza before work! Those who live in lesser cities, tremble in awe and envy!

I'm glad to hear that! I would like to see how your rules match up with mine!

Watchin' Young Justice, can't wait for Clone Wars tonight. After that, work in my favorite part of town that has a mysterious and delicious coconut milk for sale in every bodega. I'm getting a HUGE bottle tonight...

I will watch those in the AM with the kids.

Which rules?

The tweaked gurps str/weapon rules I told you about on the phone, I had to jiggle with DR a little. I eventually settled on half armor bonus equals DR, for example chain shirt grants AC+4 and DR 2/-. Battles have gotten BRUTAL, just the way we like 'em.

Oh yeah thats right. I never did get all the specifics.

I also use Dex for attack instead of Str, an Ogre now hits less often, but can almost twice as much dmg. I'm seeing Solnes fight defensively for the first time, and at 6th lvl her rogue can still bring the pain with her dagger. crit range stays the same, but all bludgeon weapons do x1.5, slashing x2, and piercing does x4 on a successful crit.

Bed time for this redneck, g'night guys.

I'm turning pumpkin.

with the exception of the dex rules, it's sounding similar to my stuff.

I am intrigued by this and look forward to more information.

Hey LPM its been a while.

Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

LPM do you have your rules stat'ed out - if so can I have a copy.

I found the limb removing/breaking combat of Rolemaster to be the most fun and brutal of all rpgs...

Saskatoon Mountain or Pacific time? Living on Pacific was kinda weird. Everything was so early in the rest of the country.

Break for gardening. Hope everyone's day is going well.

No. You have piqued my interest, however.

It's a little slow, but visually striking enough for me not care. It's set inside a WoW"ish" type game, and the characters are right out of a game like mine. I recomend checking it out, it's on Netflix if you have it.

A game like yours, eh? Now I'm really interested. Will watch tonight and post my thoughts.

I can't believe I just had a salad for breakfast when there's perfectly good bacon in the fridge. What's come over me?!

You, didn't add the Bacon to the Salad??

Grand Lodge

Stop tormenting me with your bacon talk! :(

Paizo Employee Senior Software Developer

To be fair, there was taco meat in the salad.

But that bacon is still there, beckoning.

I used to be called "The Dew." I'll let you guess why.

Everyday, well it's the same
That <****> that's on the table
Starts to call my name
I take a hit and zone out again
I'll be paranoid and hungry by a quarter to ten
Watching reruns on my TV
I'm laughing off my ass at Three's Company
I don't know if I'm understood
But hearing Jimmy Buffett never sounded soooo good
