TBF the Zelda and Metroid ones can play a lot different depending. The Mario includes the party and racing games but still leaves a lot of game that is pretty well the same. Kirby IS the same game every time.Yeah Nintendo got it down.

I have to say, Nintendo is pretty good at getting people to buy the same game over and over again. For instance, Pokemon. The original release was Red and Blue (Green, in Japan). Then they re-released it as Yellow with a couple minor changes. Then they re-re-released them as FireRed and LeafGreen. I get a reprieve from working on cleaning out Miz Daisy's house today, but only because I have to go to the Red Cross blood drive, and then take both kids for their pediatrician appointments, and then go to the grocery store, and then take Teensy Valeros to his piano lesson.
I've spent most of this week cleaning out the room that will be Val's.
It's been my MiL's box room for the last thirty years. I packed up 8 large uhaul boxes just of rolls for the player piano. So far I've packed up 13 boxes of vintage clothing and housewares that will eventually go on her Etsy and Ebay pages. And I have taken so much crap to the thrift shop and to the dump. And there is still so freaking much more.
On the plus side, I'm finding some things that actually have sale value, like old tube radios from the 30's and 40's. (Yes, plural.)

GothBard asked me to clean out the liquor cabinet -- not only does it include all of the alcohols GothBard has picked up over the years, but my parents' supply from when my father was alive back in the early 2000s. So the cabinet was pretty darned full.
What am I choosing to keep?
The tequila for cooking and the Everclear for cleaning.

And while I'm not 100% sure, I believe that the award for "oldest bottle" goes to a bottle of "Alhnbas Rakish" that my friend's father gave me as a going-away present when I left Istanbul in July of 1987. (Googling, the closest match I get is "Tekel Raki Alhnbas", which looks close enough. In fact, here's a picture!)
