I can understand why people choose country over friends though I would not do it myself. But lets say, your sister is taking drugs. Would you turn her in to the police or not?
I would. For her own good.
John, is it possible to take sleeping pills and knock yourself out during the flight or is it a very bad idea? I never studied medicine.

I don't know, either. But it is a very good question to ask our more medically knowledgeable posters. So,
Question: If an air traveler gets headaches in-flight, is sedation a good idea?

I wonder what it is about the back of the Toys R Us lot that make people want to do it in their car.
It's nice they park so close to my car when they do though, it makes for a more entertaining break time (and coworkers wonder why I sit in my car for break).
remote location + little foot traffic = makeout point

Final egg-hollowing success rate: 77.77%.
And I got a packet of proper dyes from the little Russian deli in Oakland, and a block of beeswax from the hardware store.
Tomorrow, Pisanki!
Also, I finished Hermione's Star Trek dress while the kids explored the graphic novels section of the library.
And now I'm making onion soup for dinner.

*Offers observational humorous remark on how the site in question gets the idea, that 5th ed D&D might be a good "dieting solution" to the "rules bloat" of PF classic...?*

Edit: Yea its a bad joke, but giving the current state of affairs (ie version 2.0) it was worth a try ^^'

Requisite Political Comment: I have to agree with others that it did more for women than Wonder Woman. All of the women in the movie were strong, individual, people. Was that so hard, Hollywood?
Yes, but/and...
With the disclaimer that I loved both movies, and thought Gal Gadot could not have been a better casting choice,
I feel the difference is that, for as amazing as Wonder Woman was, DC is still trying to give us women that other women will want to be and that they want men to want to f***.
Marvel is giving us "Would you kill me, my love?" "For Wakanda? No question."
I've dealt with enough crazy people, both men and women, to know that Marvel's line is a red flag for abusive behavior. It doesn't matter if your a man or a woman, or what your partner is; if you feel the need to ask that question, your relationship is in trouble. If they give you that answer, seriously consider finding another partner.
But Hollywood has always been terrible at depicting healthy relationships between people. I tend to let it slide when I see things like that in movies. That doesn't stop the entire romance subplot in The Last Jedi from creeping me out.
Seriously?
Yes, Hollywood does a crap job at depicting healthy relationships. Yes that subplot was creepy as hell (we are talking about the Rey/Kylo subplot, right? Because the Finn/Rose one wasn’t creepy, just awkward). But your reaction to the line from black panther is really out of context.

In general no. You won’t always react predictably to medication in the air, even if it is something you normally tolerate well. Found that out the hard way. But really you should consult a doctor. Obviously they will be able to give more accurate information.

Dimenhydrinate, the motion sickness pill has a sedative effect. So I was thinking if they do give that for motion sickness..and could cause you to sleep the flight, why can't you?
Of course yes please go check it out with a doctor first. I may be overlooking something with my simplistic world view.
Kylo and Rey, they're both kids. They probably don't even know how to Control that psychic link of theirs. So what they did doesn't bother me. I mean they're nubs who don't know what they're doing!
I mean if I have a bad day I sort of project it out to everyone in sight, I can't control that either ><
You should have heard all that angst when my Strange Aeons game fell apart. Now I do feel sorry for the guy on the receiving end.

Two women are walking home from a bar one night and need to relieve themselves. They duck into the cemetery and take care of business. One of them uses her underwear to clean herself up, while the other uses a wreath off a tombstone.
The next day, their husbands are talking. The first one says "I think my wife may be cheating on me. Last night she came home without any underwear on." The second man said "That's nothing. Last night my wife came home with a card wedged in her ass that said 'You were loved and will be missed' and was signed by the whole fire department!"

I got it fixed after quite a bit of prompting but ...sigh...

I'm just not politically motivated or patriotic enough to choose country over friends. I just kinda gaped at the screen for a moment and leaned back into my seat with a sort of "Oooookaaaaaay..." reaction.

Your not wrong. I think that goes with my personal philosophy of everything has its plus and negatives. No matter how good something seems it has its costs somewhere.

The line itself was taken out of context and presented as a counterpoint to the way Wonder Woman was written. I responded to that presentation.
Both in and out of context, it's a sign of just how screwed-up their relationship is.
