IEP meeting today. And after I'm driving over to Caro to see my sisters. My middle sister is visiting from Florida and I hardly ever get to see her.
I too have a distant sibling - my older sister (ex marine mother of four, five if you count the husband) is in Warner-Robbins Georgia.
Edit - What's an IEP meeting?
(I'm military so I immediately went.. imrpovised explosive....p....p? Prosthetics?!??!)

Individualized Education Program, for student we unique needs in school. They are so boring and get so little done I often wonder why they have them at all.

Individualized Education Plan. We're trying to get the stuff in the plan that should have been there before. And we want to get all of this ironed out now so everything is in place the way that it should be for next year. Things like a dedicated para pro and access to the district autism consultant.
Edit: ninja'd by CJ

I see. Working with the education system can really be a nightmare.

What, you've never seen the badgah's fire dance? It's amazing! Who knew he'd look so good in a hula-skirt?

Fun fact for the day:

Cat: responds to most emetics
Monkey: responds to selected emetics
Sheep: vomits rarely
Horse: vomits very rarely
Rabbit: does not vomit
Mouse: does not vomit
Chicken: develops diarrhea only
Don't give your chicken ipecac.

HHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
Edit - I read that aloud. My office enjoyed it as a whole, but my Sergeant shot me daggers with his eyes. He's been doing that since I tried to fry him with my "Lazer Vision" the other day. Upon informing him of my intent and his realizing that I do not, indeed, have lazer vision, there was a prolongued bout of intense zoolander-esque staring.

Things is ok here. Apparently not as busy as you. Seen X-Men? Good stuff. Imagine that, an X-Men film where Wolverine ISN'T the main character!
I now have a card that lets me go to the local movie theater (walking distance from my house) without paying. Only £16 / month, which means that if I see two films a month, I've already payed for the card.
