Fanatical Naked Sin. Awesome.

Mothman: There was even a Foster's Beer commercial on at exactly that moment.

The Exchange

Time to have a Paizo Purple Punch at the hotel bar before I collapse for the night.

Liberty's Edge

It's been a while since I saw Sin City, but I thought it was good.

Dark Archive

So I received a death threat at work, from an unstable young man who lives in my neighbourhood. That just sums up how good my day was.

I've heard they are greasy, gamey, stringy, and chock-full of parasites. Guess that's why they look so complacent sitting in the middle of the field scarfing grass. Nobody wants to get close.

P.S. - Oh, and they have BO and halitosis and belch a lot.

No woodchucks here!

Not Mairkurion. It was for his evil doppleganger, Mairijuakurion.

I'm colourblind too. But I would have pressed the red button anyway . . .

Hi all.

Well, I’m in a good mood, it is lunch time on Friday here in Sydney and tonight is game night. Our newly 10th level heroes get to put the smack down on the mysterious, monstrous (and no doubt tentacled) entity that lies trapped under the ancient Thassilonian city we’ve been exploring. Then it’s back to the main story line (presumably) with a new GM at the helm.

Happy birthday!

What do you need help with? How does it go? Dum-da-dee-da dum?
This might help: In Amadeus, I think it was one of the pieces with the Vaudevillian magical horse. It was slow and lyrical, and the audience started joining in. Maybe a midget knight started it?
I don't know that scene (or remember it - Amadeus was forever ago). However, here's the soundtrack with samples of the beginning of each song. Maybe you can find it in there?
I have the three disc set of the soundtrack that came in that box. Sadly, it is not as complete as it claims.
Bah, I was afraid of that. Sorry, Mairk. I don't remember that scene, nor can I find it on YouTube. I looked. Blarg.
I appreciate it. I too spent over an hour on YT looking for it. Of course, I kept hoping Celestial Healer would solve my music problem, but I guess he's all "I have important Life Things to Deal with right now." That's okay...I'll grit through the pain.

Ack. I had missed this question. I know the scene you are talking about, but can't think of the music. I have the film on VHS but no working VHS player. I have the soundtrack, but I know it isn't on there. Can you find any link to the actual video clip?

Has anyone else ever noticed how machetes work much better with one hand than with two? I think my damage bonus from Str is higher with one hand than with two, though two give a higher attack bonus (always against plants, of course).

Wow. Epic stupidity. I've gotta say though that the video would have been way more interesting if she had hopped in and hand fed that monster.

Ok I'm sorry but that guy is a moron.

The bear was interested because he kept walking away and making only little noises. He didn't brachiate at all. Often, bears try to get close so that they can see: they have bad eyesight. But this guy wasn't giving the bear any clues. He didn't even try to climb a tree, he was so busy holding his f%$#ing camera. I'm sorry, but this guy was insanely stupid and cowardly. He should have stood out in the open and roared at the bear. That would have warned it away. It looked young and inexperienced.

If he was at Yellowstone or some other place where bears are "friendly," he should have at least tried to climb a tree. Grizzly bears can't climb trees well, but humans are only a few hundred thousand years off in evolution from bonobos, who can climb trees. This guy was much stupider than the woman, who obviously had the shark trained. (It was cool seeing the shark gum the metal bars.)

Anyone who has more knowledge of bears, let me know if I'm wrong in any of this.

Liberty's Edge

In conclusion: I have no respect for a guy who is pumped with adrenaline and cannot climb 15 feet up a tree in 30 seconds or less.

Edit: Also, who is as skinny as that guy's shadow leads one to believe.

Liberty's Edge

"DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK."

Yeah, I actually don't remember how to finish that quote. "I wonder why that keeps happening?"

Liberty's Edge

Grin and bear it.
They can climb trees faster than a human.
