Having gone to both a community college and two private colleges, I've gained a lot of respect for the former and quite a bit of doubt in the latter.

EDIT: You're welcome to imagine me as unclothed as you like, but...eh, it's not in writing so I'm playing dumb.

I could go on a rant about golf courses, but I'm not.

Put-put though is awesome.

Golf is greatly improved by getting screwdrivers from the drink cart each time it swings by. When your foursome sucks at golf, playing while buzzed (and then while hammered) really doesn't make your golfing abilities worse. For a while there (pre-hammering), the extra relaxation actually improved our abilities.

The only downsides apparently are: 1) alcohol consumption decreases your ability to give a fig about playtimes, which really irritates to better golfers stuck playing behind you, and b) alcohol consumption also decreases your ability to remember to reapply sunscreen. One of us ended up looking like she'd rubbed beet juice all over by the next day.

If I was having a foursome I couldn't care less how much they sucked at golf XD

But agreed, the neverending supply of Amaretto Sours is probably the only reason I survived Vegas.

No. That would be... the worst.

I helped Orthos show up by informing him of Liz's departure.

(He was unaware, before.)

You're welcome.

"At golf" is crucial here for keeping the negative...

That is done.

No promises beyond that.

Hey guys. Long time no see. Hope everyone's doing well.

Probably shouldn't get too used to seeing me around, though. My absence here on Paizo has been pretty intentional after the first little bit of just not having the time to keep up. Between certain people's behaviors and certain unsettling trends in staff activity I finally hit the threshold point of "this place has changed too much for the worse" several months ago, hence my departure.

Steam (axioanarchist) or Skype (axi0anarchist) are probably the best places to get in touch with me. Barring that, over on GITP as EdgeOfOblivion.

It's been an experience over the years. Certainly there'll be things I'll miss. But I fear that time has come and gone.

Best of luck to all of you, and thank you for all you've done.

Check out Khan Acadamy. They have some good tutorials there.

The kids have seen every episode of Gravity Falls at least six times (at least!) and Tiny T-Rex has a dipper hat and both have a copy of the journal (now available at all fine bookstores)

I'm also running RotRL as Gravity Falls for them and their cousins during summer months. :-)

Sure you are! I know the truth! The truth is that you love 6:43 AM. Admit your love for it!

No. I kind of wish I did.

It would make so many things nicer, like easier to get breakfast at places that close early (like Chick-fil-A for breakfasts or places like Cuban restaurants).

Hungry.

Current status: not feeling quite as home around here as I used to.

Sigh.

It's 6:45 here now, it's rainy, so I get to do my whole matrix thing with driving everyone to school. :-)

I used to get up at 3:30 when I was a baker in Seattle. That was too early.

So...they're trying to take my phone away. Apparently .5%(accommodating for false stories and rumors) is enough of a chance of something going wrong to make everyone(read: my wife) lose their minds.

Verizon has been disgusting with their methods of handling this- even for Verizon. I trust them not in slightest. I am making moves to reactivate my old phone(old freezy/Note 3) as Verizon has been caught in a lie at least twice with respect to the loaner phone program. I may be quiet for a day or two while switching over. Apologies to anyone who tries to call me while using the note 3, I may not get your call.

Okay: S4:E17 "The Equestranauts" was, frankly, excellent - it perfectly encapsulates the differences between adults, children, the relative importance between what we focus on (and why and how) and how we express appreciation for those things people do for us. And it does so through very ridiculous cartoon antics, generally ludicrous silliness, and an almost-but-not-quite broken aesop (but definitely bent a little*).

* It's okay, though, because it's flexible.

the things thr convention episode got right about conventions in general and mlp fandom specifically was HILARIOUS. I have been to those parties before and it is EXACTLY like that.

I hate mornings. "The dawn's early light" is for the birds, if they'd only shut up about it. Then, when you stack summertime temperatures on top of the ultimate rudeness of workdays that begin at 6 AM, I find I want to hibernate like the bear that is my namesake, just during the opposite season.

To those of you who enjoy the AM hours, I salute your madness with a smile and a raised glass. Don't hate me 'cause I am allied with Winter and Night. :)
