My desk is terribly old, big, unwieldy, and all that. And even if I wanted to replace it I doubt I would be able to move it more than a few inches. No it can't be disassembled as far as I can tell... More than once, that is.

burlesque show

Have no idea if you've ever heard of them, but, via Dungeons & Doritos, I a) learned what burlesque shows were (after a... Google... seeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaarrrrrrch? Uh... huh. õ.O) and b) learned of a specific one named "Epic Win Burlesque" (one, er two, well one, sort of, player is apparently part of that show; her name is "Lefty Lucy").

As I do not patronize such things, but I thiiiiiiiiink (?) they're in your area and you do attend such things, I mention them, as they are purported to do exceptionally nerdy things as part of their shows. You may well be interested.

If you are, and you meet or know anyone, you can tell them that I sent you. (She has officially errata'd her character to have a feather in her hat after some really terrible fan-art I sent in to D&D quite some time back, so that's really awesome.)

I am semi regular at d20 burlesque, so I will look into this as well.

Also, you should patronize such things..it would be an awesome place to meet!

Hah! ... sorry. Married, and not my bag.

But! If you ever get down here to the Sunshine state, we've got a new shop in Ocala: G33k Out! It's really nice!

They stole my tooth! :(

burlesque with wife makes burlesque more awesome!

Perhaps. I'll mention it to her.

(If nothing else, at least I'll get a laugh.) :D

Or...

Have her perform with the troupe!

Math lesson from tonight's Pathfinder game:

(1 angry 3rd level sorceror + Burning Hands) x (conveniently grouped enemies) = 6 dead mites.

Def Leppard's greatest hits.

48 more team names to change, and then the top 5 tiers of the Avistani Soccer League will be cosmetically finished.

I'm tipping Satrap Katheer from Qadira as inaugural champions, although the Numerians of Chitterhome and the Varisians of Korvosa North Point are good bets too.

Wonder how long I can keep up this update rate.

I want to do at least the Garundi and Tian Xia leagues before I start a proper simulation, so with the crappy editor the game has, that'll be a while.

12 teams takes about an hour - and that's without altering player names.

Oh, look a new project was spawned by an already finished project...
And I even have a decent idea for that one.

There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

In at 6.45 to ring Hong Kong and the system's down, so I can't do anything. Humdedumdedum.

At least you don't have to keep blocking "promoted" tweets explaining (in awful English) why promoting human rights is anti-Arabic.

You'd really think the Saudis could afford some proof readers.

Maybe proof-reading is equally objectionable?

Hmm... Guess the paper route has finally made me one of those annoying people who don't realise how early 6 o'clock is to normal people.

Could well be.

The spam I get is well, spam. At work, it's urgent invoices which I must download or else I'll be in breach of lawful legal legality. On personal email, Russian women who have met me at the 'mall' and are desperate to get in touch, pictures of naked people doing things and helpful gentleman looking to supply me with magic words that will act like a Maximised Dire Charm on all young ladies within a radius of three miles, or dinkle pills. I wonder why?

No tweets, as I don't do Twitter.

Gmail is pretty good at filtering those things out, it seems.

In other news, one of the gulls who live on the parking lot outside has learned to imitate an alarm clock...

*yawn* Morning.

Sitting up to 6 am. Woken around 9 by domestic argument of neighbors below. Sleeping some more. Waking up with mild headache caused probably by bad back and mattress issues. Interestingly I had no major back and mattress issues last two weeks when I was more sick-ish. Or maybe I just hadn't noticed with all that paracetamol and ibuprofen I stuffed into myself?

Hey, one of them was actually quite nice!

The rest of was... Uh. They weren't bad, but they seemed... Bland? Sparkless?

I am used to not being picked into top five of anything, but if I am not in the finale I would like to lose to awesome competitors, not to "not bad".

Okay, let me know which one to go back and give a second look to. Maybe I was grumpy.

Did I miss anything? I like seeing some of the new aliases. Carry the torch high.
