Why must I always work on the nice days?
Well, you see, the world is secretly run by a cabal of influential politicians, super-wealthy business men, and a guy named Ed who runs a newspaper stand in downtown Manhattan. Sadly for you, Ed is a man you cut off in traffic once, and he holds a grudge.

So, there's this guy that bugs the bejeebers out of me. You all know who and why. Well, he recently posted a picture of himself online, hugging his newly acquired copy of Ultimate Magic. He looked so happy, like a great big, innocent kid. Made me think, maybe I should strive to be a little more tolerant of people who bug the bejeebers out of me. Maybe the whole world just needs a copy of Ultimate Magic to hug. If that's the case, all I need is enough Sharpies to go mark out "Magus" and write "Warlock" in all of them.

Bleach is similar to Naruto in that it's several hundred episodes, swingy on power levels and continuity, and has seasons of filler arcs. if you liked one you will probably enjoy the other. Sacred Blacksmith i enjoyed, i liked the concept of the transforming/sentient weapons. A few minor plot quibbles but overall a nice watch. No regrets on it. Spice and Wolf i found to be solidly entertaining, not super extreme in any of its genres included.

Naruto I wanted to like; I tried to like. The main character just bugs the hell out of me.

You may run into that with bleach then. It has a ginormous cast of characters that keeps growing, and the main characters power levels are very swingy. Some fans like the one and hate the other, some like both, etc. I personally hate the mandatory episodes set aside for bad guy backstory. ok, so these 5 guys show up. 1st episode hero A and villan X clash. Its a decent fight. Next episode, flashback exposition on villain X, next episode, conclusion of fight. Hero B and villain Y in episode 4, decent fight, episode 5, flashback exposition backstory of Villain Y, etc.
My friend said it best. He lives for the Kenpachi battles. "Enough with your words. NO MORE TALK! RAAAAH!"
Theres also one character, who despite having several duel scenes in several hundred episodes, never actually fights at all.
/staredown.
/verble exchange.
/staredown.
/bad guy backs down after 4 epsiodes worth of staredown/commentary interludes mixed into other peoples battles.

Oh boy. Well, if it starts driving me crazy, I'll have to remember to come back here and confirm.

I also feel the writer started running out of ideas.
/new character arrives!
"so what's your power?"
"dirty boots."
"what? really? the hell does that mean."
"means these boots i wear. the dirtier they get, the faster/stronger i become."
"you can't be serious."
(paraphrased.)

Ha, yes I do.
Mairkurion, are the rumours true? Have you started a new pbp game? If so, best of luck with it!

Hi Rath - I don't see you much now that I rarely make it to the chat room. How's things?
Things are pretty good here man. sorry i don't see ya in chat as much also. I don't get to blame you for Random Event XX anymore.

How'd you go? I was running late this morning (too frikken cold to get out of bed) but somehow managed to make up time and get in about 5 past 9 ... not too shabby (let's just say I've been far later than that for far less reason).

Shouldn't I get blamed more if I'm not there? That's how it seems to happen at work ...
Cool, I like Savage Tide (the game I was in never made it far into the second chapter though) ... how's it going? Legacy of Fire is also great.

Blaming you in absentia is no fun at all. No reactions, i may as well blame france or canada.
Savage Tide is going well, the group just hit 8th and are playing with Olangru the bar'lagura inside the shrine of demogorgon inside the Fogmire. (part 4)

AZ: Good. I don't think it's dropped yet. Also, <insert pimping of blog for F&D mention>
Mothman: It's a cleaned-up, simplified, OGL version of D&D from the original little booklets. It comes in three flavors: White Box, Core Rules, and Complete Rules. The latter is a shiny book put out by Frog God Games. It shouldn't surprise you that a fellow Texan of mine is the genius behind all this.

I found this on facebook. I am a strong believer in this. I just thought this would be a good read.
This pretty much sums up what I stand for. After (if?) I finish my bachelor's degree I'm going to trade school, and until then I plan to spend much of my free time getting trained for various jobs. The week after Paizocon, I start work with a contracting firm, and they're going to give me some basic training with carpentry, electrics, and welding.

Today yes. 3 copperheads at one house. I haven't had a day in the past 3 weeks that I haven't come across at least one snake, but up until now it's been brown snakes or corn snakes, or even a garter. But no, today was mean ass nasty tempered copperheads. Was. They're dead now. >:)
Hey, at least it's not alligators again.
Which reminds me... I need to re-do that cartoon I did for FAWTLcon last year...

Token Yankee? But that's my job!

As a side note, i think that one was based on the costume the orange skinned girl switched to when she came to earth.
