Quoting myself now... that's just wrong.

And doing it naked is not helping.

Then again, I don't know how any of the stuff you mentioned sounds, so perhaps I'm talking out of my rear.

I've at least heard of Jets to Brazil

Ah well. Time to go play something with lots of jangly guitars in it.

I may even go a bit crazy and pick something with tambourines!

hi everyone

I just gave myself a decent shock,

I was juggled two full dirty laundry baskets, one on top of the other, down the stairs, in socks,
I slipped and fell, landing with my back on the steps and showering myself in laundry, it knocked the akr out of me but looks like no serious injoury happend

I'm possibly playing a show in two weeks, but I don't have a name yet. Any thoughts? Nothing funny, no puns. My stuff sounds a bit like Chuck Ragan / Dave Hause / Jets to Brazil.

Shiny Eldritch ?

Yeah, lots of positive thoughts in these tough times. Remember to try and stay optimistic and don't dwell too much. Which is of course easier said than done, I just hope everything gets better - or you are able to adjust.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! TGIF!!! Even if it is a rather dreary morning. Cloudy and some misty rain here in Philly. But it's supposed to get into the 60s today, so huzzah for that.

Scarab Sages

Positive Waves to BT & BP, and to any other FAWTLY Folk who need them.

Scarab Sages

Charlie had his 2 year old doctor's appointment yesterday. Everything looks good. Height is good. Weight is good. The doctor thought he spoke very well.

And we finally found out why he's been waking up randomly at night - back molars are coming through and causing some pain/discomfort.

Scarab Sages

Gonn be a busy day at work today.

Scarab Sages

When we finally get there, that is.

Scarab Sages

And poor Missus Zombie had to go in last night to review some stuff - didn't get home until quarter to 11. S$*$ like that bugs me, especially with the recent rash of taser muggings in our area.

Scarab Sages

Gonna have to convince her that she needs her concealed carry permit as well.

Scarab Sages

Almost at work. By for now.

Yeah! No easy way out!

Spoiler:
Ouch :(

Minor fender-bender on the road this morning. Right at a corner at a stoplight. Yet neither the people involved in the accident nor the attending cops thought to move the cars out of the high-traffic lane right around the corner into the little residential side-road, despite the wreck being right there at the corner, and thus traffic on my morning route was backed up nearly halfway to my house.

Barely made it to work before the 8:30 cutoff that would have forced me to go home and come back at 10:30. And I didn't get to do the shopping I left early for in the first place. >=/

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

Best wishes to BT and BP on family worries, and glad you are not injured, aeglos.

Going to look for place that will print my cover letter and CV and carry them to book shop where they looked for an employee.

I'm glad you made it into work in time.

In NC, high-trafficked areas have signs declaring it's a state law to move your vehicles if there is no injury, i.e., a fender-bender.

A new A-Z monster for you, the euphonic kaida.

I'll be at MACE West this weekend, running and playing some Pathfinder games, so I probably won't spam you with tomorrow's F entry, but it will go up at 8 AM EDT anyway. Maybe on Sunday when I get back, I'll post links to my monster and Flash's shield. :)

We have those on the highways, at least. I'm just irked that no one took the logical step of applying that to surface streets, especially knowing that road is a major morning rush hour thoroughfare.

It's probably about time Za-Lord's Guard in my Kingmaker game started recruiting new members =D

Thank you for all the well wishes.

Job orientation..., look at that. Oooops, I'm running late. Time to fly.

Bleh, I dunno whether to hold on to my homebrew pantheon for my homebrew campaign setting, or just give in and throw in the Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms gods there instead. I can't imagine my group caring enough about the campaign world itself to invest time in reading on the deities I made. Either that, or I feel they're not interesting enough.

Then again, it could be both...

If you go through with it, do it for yourself, not for them. Players tend to be bad about exploring campaign worlds in any detail. They usually just want to deal with what is in front of them. Of course, any divine casters will select one of your deities and read up on that one, but most others will just give it a cursory review.

Sucks when you don't have that kind of buy-in, yeah. Takes a LOT of the fun out of worldbuilding. =/

Sending positive vibes to BP and BT for their loved ones' health situations, and to anybody else who needs it.

We'll be packing and moving stuff to keep to storage today, and stuff we don't want to keep to one room for sales purposes.

Removal of stone reside from a gas water heater is deemed mediocre success at best. Water still flows poorly. I don't know if the pressure will be enough for the gas heater to work. *sigh*

A new gas water heater is much beyond my financial capabilities now.

At least I left a cover letter and CV at bookshop (after some frantic search for a place where I could print them).

Editorial sense tingling:
In Attune Instrument section, in the second sentence the creature's name is misspelled once as kadia.

+1. I love doing homebrew campaign stuff, but I don't kid myself that anyone but me is interested in the types of coins the Free City of Opal mints, or who the Archduke was 100 years ago. One cleric loved my fusion of Caydan Cailean and the Aztec god of drunkeness, Two Rabbit, but he was the only one who cared about the ongoing syncretic fusion of traditional Golarion/Greyhawk gods into an Aztec pantheon. I find this sort of stuff is fun by itself, and is always good to have on hand when a player DOES ask a pertinent question. Also really good for PbP expository descriptive scenes.

Ah well, Novadriver is cranking. Time to get back to exercising..

Liberty's Edge

The local university sandwich shop takes orders by having customers write down their name on a strip of paper with their order on it. Now, either they can't read, or I have bad handwriting, because the last two times I've gone in there, they called me "Pavel."

My uncle was named Pavel (or more correctly Polish form of that name Paweł [pavew])

Maybe it's the exclamation point you insist on putting at the end.

"Dave!" looks a lot like Pavel.

Although styling your name like a 1950's musical does have some panache. ("Oklahoma!", "Oliver!")

And if he'd been Swedish he'd have been called "Pål."
