Has math and it's unending evil struck again?
The prof hurt his back and has been out for a month+. We've had rotating subs some of the time but not necessarily for the whole class period and they don't have access to lesson plans or other materials. Basically we've been stuck trying to teach ourselves calculus. :/
And thanks to the time sink that this has become I am now also hopelessly behind in my other classes as well.

Wow, yeah, that's when you start screaming. You pay a LOT of money per class, and if they're not delivering, you should at least get to take the course again at no charge - and should probably get some sort of refund.

At the very least they should refund our contact hour fee. Not that I'm holding my breath. That's what should happen, not what will.

Best conversation ever with my roommate:
Me: "You know, I just realized that I know four openly schizophrenic people, and they all have extensive record collections. You think there's any sort of correlation between the two?"
Roommate: Long pause. "Well... don't date a chick who collects records?"

So, part of our morning ritual is that we get to the work, walk in the building, and part at the stairwell (I work upstairs, the wife works downstairs). As we part, I usually give the wife a kiss on the cheek.
This morning, after the kiss, I start walking up the stairs and some dude I don't know says:
"Where's my kiss?"
Right there, I knew it was going to be a weird day.
