Sigh! What happened to the good old days when Donald Duck actually cussed like a sailor?

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. Its off to a great start. I am at work this morning because a high profile order is in a melt down. Yeah :-(

I keep reminding myself that what doesn't kill me makes me better.

Enough of the whining - have a great weekend everyone!

Scarab Sages

Hmm...ran out of Folgers so I opened this pack of store brand coffee I'd won as part of a free bag of groceries a few weeks ago. I'm not too keen on it.

Holy crap! They haven't even left Earth yet and they've already used up two mouseketools.

Scarab Sages

And can you guess what auto spell correct the iPhone wanted to use on the word mouseketools?

Scarab Sages

The moon as giant snoring baby head?!? I've always said I'm convinced the writers of children's shows are whacked out on some pretty serious drugs.

That happens to me a lot. :)

Dammit. I just saved a suggar jar from falling down and shattering... Only to nick the glass tea pot in the process. Hopefully it will remain useful but I am afraid that the small cracks will expand when the hot water will be poured into.

It might be that I saved (after exchange) $1.5-$2 just to spend $5-$7...

Story of my life,...

And Happy Birthday Tordek! :)

:( Drejk.

Happy Birthday Tordek, well hopefully for saving the melt-down you get a generous reward. And that it takes little time so you can enjoy yourself alot.

Jess good to hear that the tooth is sorted and hope it doesn't bother you again.

Everyone else hope you are having a good day.

No, drill holes in them and play conkers. Bashing them against one another until only the strongest survive.

(if they are horse-chestnuts)

Rise up, my woodland brothers! Rise up, and smash the walking food bags!

Best conversation ever with my roommate:

Me: "You know, I just realized that I know four openly schizophrenic people, and they all have extensive record collections. You think there's any sort of correlation between the two?"

Roommate: Long pause. "Well... don't date a chick who collects records?"

That would be a snippet which would make into a status update I'd post if I was involved. Awesome!

Coworker: "Why don't you get one of those things that lets you play your MP3 player through your cigarette outlet?"
Me: "Ooh good idea, didn't know those existed."

*goes to search*

And of course the WalMart right across the street from my office doesn't carry ANY of them.

???

An MP3 player can charge via your cigarette outlet, but cannot play through one, since that outlet is not connected to your speakers.

The things I found were all FM-converter thingies. One end plugged into the cigarette outlet, the other had a headphone jack. Adjust it to a particular station and it tells the radio to play from your player instead of that frequency. I don't know how it works, really, just that it does.

Prayer.

So tired. Did sleep a couple of hours last night. Had to rewrite my program this morning because it was such a mess it was better to start from scratch. Still couldn't get output. Gotta love an automatic 20 points off a 50 point assignment....and I know I'll lose more on top of that. >.<

In my defense, the compiler kept telling me that there was nothing wrong with the program. It just didn't produce output. Well, at least I turned in something I guess.
But I am getting sick of these all-nighters. :/

I hear nooners, OTOH, are awesome. Maybe that'll make a difference?

Sent in my advanced voter ballot today. It is all done for me.

Glad you got one of those. The basic version I got only afforded me only a single option to vote on.

That's why I have to look at 3PP's for alternate options despite the fact that it's not allowed for regular society organized voting.

Never mind. Never ###k a gift pod in the mouth.

Happy Friday, Earthlings!

Especially with a mouthful of bacon. Cream with pork is not kosher.

Breakdown of things continues: the second pieces that support my glasses on my nose decided to fall apart today. I'll need to go to optician on Monday and refit them because now glasses are sliding a bit on my nose. I have a mild headache already from this.
