Naked halflings...
...looks like we found one of the Tom Bombadill scenes that didn't make the movie!
Starring Robin Williams as Tom Bombadil!

That's a natural selection.
Guten Tag Aeglos.
Well, two-and-a-half-hour until the interview. Here's to good luck and ass-kissing.
Hopefully the interviewers washed their lower backs...
Good luck! And make it as much about how awesome you are and how much you can benefit the company as it is that you like your interviewer and his company. Do what you can to make it clear THEY would be lucky to have YOU. ;)

My kins all stickin around. They ain't scairt none.
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone has an awesome day!!
My own work evening yesterday went better than I thought it would, but not as awesome as I would have liked. There were some...delays....at the beginning, and we got started almost an hour later than I expected. Very frustrating.
But after that, my contractors came through and performed admirably. Made some real progress. Good, old-fashioned, elbow-grease work ethic beats paranoid, overbearing, b+@#!iness any day.
For those who might need it......
POSITIVE WAVES!!!
Bye for now FAWTLY Folk. Gotta go check my work email.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!! Thick-sliced Blue Ribbon Bacon and eggs for lunch. Yummy!
Hope the interview went well,BP. :)
Made red beans and rice in the crockpot for dinner. It's not done cooking yet, but it smells so good it's making me hungry. Hopefully it tastes as good as it smells. This is my first time making it from scratch instead of using a mix.
Pinto beans and ham hocks, or beef chunks is wonderful and filling.
Lynora, don't forget the Worchestershire sauce.

Don't eat beef, not a huge fan of ham. Used kidney beans and andouille cause I like that better. :)
And I should always, always, always forget the worcestershire sauce. It's made with anchovies. It could kill me. Sometimes you can find a vegetarian version, but it's not commonly available, so I steer clear. But then I'm the person who has to not eat something because it was processed on the same equipment as fish and have to be careful not to swallow any water when I swim at the lake. Stoopid severe allergies. :P
Ham and scalloped potatoes here. It'll be my first time soloing roux. Wish me luck!
Sorry, Lynora I didn't realize that could kill you.
10 hour workdays and my backlog grows and grows and grows.
Wheeeeee!!!

And food finally done. It actually does taste as good as it smells. Yay!
And even better, I can just keep the rest warm for later since we're all eating dinner at different times tonight. This is why I love my crock pot. Even more since I discovered the plastic liners that make cleanup no trouble at all. Cause no one likes scraping out that burnt on goo no matter how delicious the food was.
Damn. I hate when I eat dinners planned for four days in two days (ok, who am I kidding, I already knew it wasn't enough for four days anyway, still that chicken and broth should last for three days). No, I haven'ty done that yet but I am thinking about eating some more broth now, instead of leaving for tomorrow.

Hope everyone is doing well. Nope, well, technically we got HALF the day off, since they closed the campus at 2pm (After most of the days classes are done anyway) ;P
But we get tomorrow off! :)
I plan on sleeping in, and the rest of the day watching it rain while sippin' cider,... ;)
red beans and rice in the crock pot is good.
CHicken in the crock pot is better. Especially with bacon. :)
Yay. Good things coming from bad situations Ragadolf.
:)
(oh just tell me if you want a pbp pushing-forward post, although my eloquence is only so-so at this interval.)

...I really like Zataran's cheesy jumbalaya. I know it's from a box and all...but...yummy.
I'm not sure what is going on here but I do not approve of such tomfoolery!
Be off with you.

Thank you, BIC, for finally fulfilling this unmet feminine need. Traditional, masculine pens make our writing far too mannish, so we obviously need pastel, glittery pens to fully realize our femininity!
(Seriously. Read the reviews. They're frakkin' hilarious.)
sees cristal pen on desk at at work, loses three fingers when trying to pick it up due to invisible monofilament wire meant to keep said pen out of masculine hands

If it HAS to be something from a box, I prefer it to be Zatarain's.
'Yummy' explains it perfectly. :)
So... I helped Girl #2 move furniture yesterday, and she made me dinner afterward. I think that counts as somewhere between 20 and 50 percent of a date. Maybe. This is not helped by the fact that we're both made of military-grade awkward.

Interview went well. Training class and I'll be in paycheck within a week.
::skewers squirrel with rapier::
I'm disappointed. I expected Frank Errorgorn Ffleuder.

Without tomfoolery, this thread would cease to exist.
Ohhhhh...I see what you did there.
You're right, Badgah. Where's Frank?
Fraaaank! Oh, Fraaaaaank!

Wait...that...doesn't look right.
EDIT: Great. My first nekkid post in months and it's gotta be awkward.
