Any game play videos?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I recently found a series of videos showing a game for 4E run by the lead designer of D&D with the writers of robot chicken. I learned alot about how a 4E works watching those videos (and it was entertaining as well). I was wondering if there are or will be a simular thing done by Paizo / pathfinder crew?

I'd love to see some gameplay videos of SKR's group.

If some of the developers and editors for pathfinder could make a video of typical game play it would be awesome. Especially if it covered some key concepts of roleplaying and combat.

It would rock

That one has been done a long time ago.

It's called "The Gamers".

While I love The Gamers: Dorkness Rising (and kinda sorta like its less polished predecessor), and it is closer to the truth than most fictional accounts, it's lacking a degree of realism to a large extent. It's meant to be comedy, not a realistic representation of how play normally goes.

I'd love to film one of my sessions, but my players tend to conduct themselves in an R-rated fashion - sometimes on the cusp of NC-17 (and I'll admit I'm guilty of this from time to time, too). I actually debated doing an audio transcript of my playtest for Ultimate Magic, but reneged quickly when people started yelling obscenities and slurs the moment I turned on my recording program. :\ Maybe one of these days I can get my guys to behave enough to produce something that would be enjoyable without offending... well, everyone, more or less.

+1 on having a game group from within Paizo's design and development team recorded someday, though.

Theres a good one with the guys from Penny Arcade, PvP and Wil Wheaton with the lead designer of D&D 4e. From Gencon 2010.

It finishes off a series of Podcasts they did of their sessions. But its 4e .I now have a better idea how a 4E game's mecanics work than Pathfinder (still going through the core book). But 4e seems likes its so trying to be like a MMO!

Still gives you an idea how a game is run.

Its on youtube just search you'll find it
