Hi, guys! I'm pretty excited about migrating the game here. It will be easier to check in on the game threads than on wave, although I did like the wave experience. Being able to edit and interject in stream was very cool and helped smooth out some of the PbP awkwardness.
ArchMochi, we had written more in Caravan Crossings than you posted in the Caravan Crossings game thread. Under the combat rolls, there's a whole other section describing Zathe and Ernesto healing up the caravan.

Sorry to be a pain yet again- i've just realised the implications of a tower shield user Paladin; AKA never being able to swift action LOH myself (note that Zathe was one of my very first PF characters so I missed a lot of small changes). To fit in with his whole 'blademaster' concept, I was wondering if you'd let me tweak or perhaps re-train at 3rd level towards TWF rather than tower shield proficiency? Last change I want to retcon I promise :), just the extra AC is not worth not being able to self-LOH.

The only downside with this is that without a follow-up post, most are left waiting to see what happens, and the non-momentum builds. Should I be waiting for posts between Zathe and Ernesto?

You run some of the best RP and fluff scenes i've had the pleasure of playing in, so kudos for that.
Without fellow players from the offset its much harder to keep posting though. I appreciate you don't want to hand waive it, so perhaps compromise and spend time with the players tying their backgrounds to at least one of the other characters.
For me, its actually just been a question of time. These last two months have been crazy busy for me.

Since there has not been any movement on this thread for a long time, I'm closing the game.
Was most certainly fun while it lasted. Hope you two do well elsewhere.
Do either of you have any advice that might improve my GMing?
Me'mori, I've got to second Alex, "You run some of the best RP and fluff scenes I've had the pleasure of playing in, so kudos for that." You write incredible stuff.
That said, I think its hard to keep up the solo game in a PbP format. When there are several players if one or two get busy the others can keep the game flowing, but with only one or two players the game stops and it's hard to keep momentum.
At least that was my experience when I tried to run a solo game for a player who dropped out of one of my PbPs and wanted to caome back. The solo game was to explain what had happened to him and give him something to do until the party was in a position to meet him again. That solo game would go really really well for a couple weeks and then disappear. It went by fits and starts.
In my first PbP I also tried a long prologue drawing the PCs together. I had no idea how slowly things move in PbP. I lost two out of six before the party all met each other. It took months to cover what would have been a couple hours of face to face gaming.
Cheers!
