I'm tossing around the idea of a half-orc sorcerer with the orc bloodline.
Most of the bloodline features encourages some kind of gish but the bloodline arcana ability makes for a strong blaster. I find myself wanting something in between but I am having a hard time finding a middle ground I like.
Any suggestions?
Keep in mind, this will likely be for PFS so the character needs to be interesting sooner rather than later. PFS progression ends at level 12.

It seems crying out for a Dragon Disciple type PrC...
I don´t know if it works or not, but if the 1st level power applies to ALL spells,
I would think a 1 level dip into Orc Sorceror combined with Magus would be very workable.
I don´t know if that´s what you´re looking for...
Anything with ElK seems like it definitely wouldn´t be that amazing under 12 levels :-/

This should be a PFS legal build, but is NOT a Gish.
The problem with trying to gish with a Sorcerer is that by about 3rd level your ability to hit ANYTHING in melee is nonexistent. The utter lack of useful buffs to cast to help you with natural weapons is a big one.
I'd be tempted to go sneaky blaster, and eventually (at level 6) switch over to Dragon Disciple for the last 7 levels you play.
If you're going blaster, Half-Orc/[Red,Brass,Gold]Draconic (as Semenya is) can be pretty terrifying.
This is NOT a PFS legal build
Karthan But it does show just how terrifying that combination of favored class and bloodline abilities can be.

I am confused. What means this "Gish?"
That the given poster can't move on from 3e terminology to things that aren't based off of WotC IP. Let it go, people.
(It's a shorthand for fighter/mage, dating back to the WotC IP Githyanki race. They called their fighter/mages "Gish", and it's been quite annoyingly adopted as the term for all such blends, even if the race itself will never exist in any official way for Pathfinder.)

Looking over the bloodline, I can see where you're getting the melee fighter from, but don't be fooled- melee fighting sorcerers are crap.
Keep in mind that the most melee-oriented abilities don't even start to show up until you've passed the cap on PFS. Essentially, you don't even get most of them.
Take up blasting as a hobby, since it's going to be particularly effective when you're below 5th level. Slide your favored class bonus into +fire damage just for giggles, and don't neglect your ability to dazzle your foes with magic.
Consider going a "battle augmentation" route, bolstering your allies into ferocious warriors that would do your ancestors proud. Haste, Magic Weapon, Flaming Arrows (keep some darts on your person at all times, and great for allies), etc. You can have a lot of fun with this.
