Hi,
I'm running Kingmaker for my friends. From what i'm looking at the game is designed for, four players. It's looking like i'm going to have between 5-6 players in the game. I know i can just add a few more monsters in each encounter but i'm not exactly sure how many i'll need to add. Any recommendations?
Also, i do have a DM roll out sheet for using wet erase markers on but I'm still pretty bad at drawing maps. I'm not against spending a bit of money on something, does anyone have any idea's on what i can use?

Some of these maps are very helpful: Flip-Mats, Map Packs
You also have a couple options with 5-6 players. You can add monsters (as you've mentioned). Also, you can just run the encounters as designed (your players will earn less experience and level more slowly).
Good luck!

Each book of the AP has already been converted to a 6 player party. However, if you want there is a really nice APL/EL Excel spreadsheet in the Homebrew subforum that allows you to set the party size and APL/EL level and then pick the monsters to arrive at the appropriate APL/EL for that encounter. As for the maps, purchase the Kingmaker Map Folio book as it has a great map depicting the whole region and some of the maps are nice. Also, if you have the PDF files you can use SomePDF and Posterazor to make maps you can print out and use as battle maps from the actual pdf. For the encounter areas that are not already mapped, I use PyMapper and tiles from the old CSUAC and WOTC tiles I own.
